Bab 254: Mated to the Alpha Twins

Talia's jaw was still lowered as she stared at him with a horrified expression. 

"I asked you if you saw John on your way to the bathroom... Talia" There was a pained expression in his eyes as he stared ahead. "You lied to me." 

She shook her head. 

"No, Jephthah. Look, I can explain. It's not what you think... " 

"And then you knock over the glass of water and acted like it was unintentional..." 

She was about to speak, but he suddenly turned the steering wheel to the right abruptly and the tyres swerved, screeching on the ground before making a sharp stop on the side of the road. 

Talia gasped, holding onto dear life before the car made its abrupt stop. 

"Why did you lie?" He calmly asked, staring straight at her with his incredibly gorgeous violet eyes which looked so intensely into hers that she forgot how to breath for a couple seconds.
