Bab 173: Giving Up

All eight of them bobbing around in the water swam to the side when debris and large rocks from the cliff began dropping into the water, loud splashes wetting their hair and faces. 

Liliana's face lit up on seeing the pack warriors swimming towards them. Apparently, they weren't warned about the fire, but on hearing the loud explosion, they had taken to their heels and fell down the cliff into the lake without a single thought. 

"Come on." Joseph ordered everyone, glancing around, content that they were all safe, including the ones that had shifted who were trying to paw their way through the waves of water. He smiled. "Let's find land." 

With that he began swimming, the rest following from behind.
