Bab 35: Chapter 15 - Gabriella (1)

I'm so pissed. I hate when people do that every single time—talk about me like I'm not even there. Talk about my life like it's not mine. And then cast me out like I'm irrelevant.

I love my father, but sometimes, his being overprotective hurts me.

And just when I thought I'm changing my opinion about Mariano, he's back there with my father. I glare at the closed door where I just came out. After my father protested about the marriage once more, I butt in and he told me to leave the room like I'm a petulant kid!

I understand that he's the head of the family and he has the final say and so does Mariano. And perhaps the two of them being there by themselves—both Dons of a family—makes sense. Still, it doesn't feel good to not be included.
