Bab 388: Arm-Sized Snake

"The poison is too domineering. Only something as tyrannical as it can suppress it." Master Tarar's eyes flashed in thought, before she promptly said, "Come out."

Just as he said that, a strange arm-sized snake hopped over from his sleeve, flickering out its tongue when it arrived at Master Tarar's side in a bid to please him.

However, Master Tarar ignored its attempt at geniality. Instead, he stared at it as if he had a plan in mind.

Under his gaze, the snake seemed to feel that something was amiss and began to slowly back away.

However, it had only moved a little, before Master Tarar reached out, lifting it by the neck as he said, "I have been feeding you for quite a number of years. Isn't it time for you to do something for me?"

The strange small snake had a pitiful expression on its face as it looked at Master Tarar.
