Bab 149: Grand curse

The city had changed.

It looked a lot cleaner now. 

And the houses were of better quality. Not many bamboo ones like before though-

The roads got more spacious. 

But this shouldn't have been possible with architecture alone.

They must have borrowed some help from Lisbeth and the Alves to pull this one of. Or maybe the dwarves were far more capable than I thought. 

Regardless-

There were way more people-

And even pixies-

Yet-

Everyone was troubled…

No sign of happiness. 

"By the way, my lord-" Gorbam whispered-" We were being led by him-

With a bunch of soldiers behind us- watching. 

"Yeah?"

"Is there a reason why you look like that and hid your identity?" He whispered.

Wait, he knew?

Well, that was a relief- 

I guess that lecture wasn't going to be necessary anymore.

A grin. "I don't know what you're talking about."

He did not say a word.
