Bab 121: Through the red lands: hot chills

But nothing worked.

The hedgehogs just dodged.

Fast- was very much an understatement. 

Three had me circled and-

"Clatter!"

The moment my sword went for their heads- they somehow dodged midair-

[Miss!]

A near miss. Was I seriously lower level than these things?

Argh!

A forward slam- one of the hedgehogs slammed its body on my arm- immediately tearing a hole through my robe and armor-

Sharp-

Incinerating pain-

[Lost- 557 HP]

Well, that wasn't good-

And this was literally one of the first times I lost enough HP for the system to warn me in red. Naturally, it never bothered to show me these warnings…

Certainly, no joke-

But. 

"Revenge blast-"

A wave-

Severing the hedgehog in two-

But the two others jumped, straight for my head-
