Bab 69: Sleeping Demon

Anxi grinned happily and instantly got to her feet, wearing her bunny slippers and dashing towards the front door, she wanted to race for the door but suddenly paused in her steps as though she just remembered something.

She felt her face and hurried to her mirror instead to make sure she looked okay enough to go out while her heart kept racing in excitement.

She arranged her disheveled hair while brushing her hands through the softness of her chestnut brown hair, checking herself as though she was preparing to attend an important event and after confirming there was nothing on her face and her clothes were properly in their right places, she hurried out of her room but cautiously slowed down like some spy once she got to the living room, stealing a peek to make sure her grandmother wasn't there and thankfully, she wasn't.

If she was, she wouldn't give Anxi the freedom to step out at this hour so it must mean she's already asleep.
