Sylvie happily led everyone into the high-speed elevator and toward the Shining District, where she had already made note of the busiest and most luxurious areas. Most of the new residents of the ship didn't have much money, and the energy allotment wasn't particularly high for new arrivals who wanted to customize their home, so there wasn't a lot of spending money going around.

But there was still a desire for some high-end items, even though the quantities were more limited than they would be later.

"Welcome, everyone, to the main shopping street of the Shining District, named by the crew after they arrived." Sylvie announced as they stepped off the train and into a bustling street full of pedestrian traffic, brightly lit storefronts and the sounds of music and laughter.
