"What..." The captain's eyes widened in discontent. He seemed slightly offended, but his respect for me held it in.

The captain gulped. I put more strength in my hands and peered into his eyes.

"You should change things from within. Just like the rest of them are planning to. They can only get so far, Captain. But you have already risen in ranks can have their back while leading them from the front."
