The wind blowed furiously from the sea to the land, yet the wind here was calm for an unusually long time.

Instead of answering the dazed Eric, I smirked and dragged the pocket watch open...

Four pairs of footsteps stomped through the reticent forest. Aki took the lead with a grumpy frown and puffed cheeks. At the back of the line was a flabbergasted Vanessa who randomly gazed at Aki and scoffed, calling her a rotting banana peel while Kou dazedly sat on her shoulders and purred. I and the new girl were stuck between them as we all strolled through the forest.

It sure was a hassle, being the only sensible adult among a bunch of whimsical kids. If only we weren't working to save the world, if only.

"So what do you all feel like doing? There's food with Aki and her friend, so there's no need to search." I said.
