Bab 250: - Enemy on the Station (2)

As the last of the Nightblade fell to the ground, Gus glanced up at the Primia who stood away from them and watched as the Nightblades were killed one by one. He half expected the Bru'uka to be worried about the way that they had dealt with the Nightblades, but to his surprise it seemed to not care about their fates.

'Are they not all dead?' Gus thought, looking around to try and find something that they had missed. If they were still in this fight, then it would make sense for the Primia to not care about the losses that they had suffered already, since they would have the chance to turn around the situation using the remaining assets that they had.

'That can't be it, then,' he decided once he hadn't seen anything. 'It must be that this Primia thinks that it can still beat us alone, then.'

"I'll handle the Primia," Gus said, glancing to those near him as he spoke. "Secure the area, and make sure that there's nothing that they've got waiting for us to slip up."
