Bab 72: Chapter 72: Jet Manipulation: OverBurst!

Xavier's eyes widened, before his eyes were two daggers approaching simultaneously.

[Retract]

*SWOOSH!*

Xavier's figure reverted back to the position he was in before kicking off of the ogre's chest, the position where he had his body bent backwards. The moment he looked towards the ogre, he shivered.

*SLASH!*

Xavier's arm was sent flying through the air as the smiling ogre passed right by him, rotating his body mid-air as he did so.

Xavier quickly bent his body forward, ignoring the pain in his arm and watching with bloodshot red eye as the Ogre collided against more threads.

Contrary to what happened to Xavier, the threads didn't bind or entrap the smiling ogre. Instead, they stretched out along with his figure, pulling his feet backwards before launching him towards Xavier like a slingshot

The moment he was launched, a big hole opened up through his feet and shoe, before forcing out a rapid stream of gas, hence propelling him even faster-
