For a few seconds, I was lost in the eerie crimson eyes — both familiar and unfamiliar— They belonged to the redhead that stood right behind the gate of the Kings' mansion. But her eyes were not on me. They were fixed on Elizabeth. She was expressionless for a second, then bothered for another second. When her eyes slid over from Elizabeth to me, she perked up.
