Bab 88: Phantom Syndrome

It was night again...

I promised myself I wouldn't cry anymore. That I wasn't a little girl with a broken heart.

And I kept breaking that promise.

It was a sickness— My body was aching on the inside— Thorns were running in my veins instead of the blood that was mixed with his.

He ran inside of me…

And even that intolerable burning sensation that was in my throat before it disappeared eventually, even that… I'd give my all to feel that again.

The idea was too masochistic, but that pain was proof… something that existed… Something I could hold onto when he wasn't here.

He wasn't here.

He was in his home right where I had left him. Right where he tried to...

I shook my head twice. I wasn't going to recall that anymore. No more.

He didn't go anywhere…

But my bond was gone.
