The children hesitated, glancing at the elders for approval.

Amused, the elders encouraged them, "Go on, take it. Thank Madam Shao!"

Only then did the children break into cheers, expressing their gratitude softly.

Zheng Sangge and his brothers, who happened to be at a warehouse a few streets away transporting goods, quickly delegated their tasks to rush back upon hearing the news. Despite a prompt return, it took more than half an hour for them to reach their residence.

"Madam Shao!" Zheng Sangge, having washed up and changed his clothes, entered the hall with an apologetic expression. "I'm sorry. I had no idea you were coming today!"

Qiao Xuan reassured him with a smile, "I understand that you're busy. Waiting a bit longer is no trouble at all. Brother Zheng, you're very welcome."

Zheng Sangge smiled and proceeded to introduce Qiao Xuan to the elders.
