The sudden attention caused such discomfort that not even the succubus' gentle tunes could fully soothe him. 

When the ship finally arrived, Noboru felt heavy relief wash over him. At least there would be an end in sight.

Together with the security staff Lifen had ordered, the island inhabitants swept their island clean, driving the hostile Kelpies away who had invaded their village. Lifen installed an alarm system to improve security that would notify Bahlam's father if anything unannounced approached them. In addition, she provided them with non-lethal devices to capture and secure intruders.
