He was still angry. Sayuri felt the tense atmosphere as she sat opposite her master in the living room. Euthymia's display of power was still fresh in their memories. 

"Well, I shouldn't have expected too much, considering your brother had not been successful either," Matt finally said, leaning back. "At the moment, I can't do much since the Xuanwu Clan is upset with how events are currently unfolding in The Underground."

"Do you want me to switch targets instead, Sir," she carefully asked. The archangel crossed his arms and pondered for a moment.

"No," he eventually said. "I will have to abandon that plan for now and work on things myself in The Heaven."

"So am I to abandon the assassination of the Alpha then, Sir?" Sayuri hoped he would say yes.
