Deputy Director Zhou stopped in his tracks upon hearing the phone ring in his office.

"Academician Sun, excuse me, I have to take a call."

Zhou Sicheng courteously introduced himself upon answering the phone and asked who the caller was.

Ding Yue was somewhat taken aback when he realised he was talking to Vice President Zhou Sicheng from Xia Country Academy of Sciences.

His secretary, Wen Ruohan, only mentioned a call from Xia Science Institution, but never said who it was from. The moment he dialed back and the caller stated his name, Ding Yue was taken aback.
