Bab 75: 75 Goodbye

Adam sat on the terrace, which offered a beautiful view of the lake and the romantically lit hotel drawing on its other side. The building itself, designed in the distinctive NEBuilding style, looked like a work of art combining wood and stone. Looking at it - the work of Hubert Raymund - Adam realized how much talent the architect possessed. He sighed.

Within two days, two people professed their love for him. Actually within a day, he realized, because it had not yet been twenty-four hours since Halski....

A shudder shook him. The shock in which those events had placed him slowly subsided and he began to assimilate with his mind what had happened.
