While Kurayami, Ophis, and Kuromi were busy with the 4 Anti Machines, Kanzaki dragged his wounded and aged body to safety outside of his small world. He knew he had at best 5 minutes to escape before his Anti Machines were destroyed.
On his shoulder was the screaming and convulsing Issei suffered in agony. The more time went on the more veins turned black and burst open. The only thing keeping Issei together was the Dream aspect as he was trying to will a cure.
Only that there was no cure to the type of curse Kurayami placed on him. The primordial tongue was fickle and just a few words could cause calamity.
"Issei, do not die. I can fix this."
'No, you can't.'
That voice resounded in his head mixed in with growls making him look up. Kanzaki felt that he could not teleport away and saw the reason why. Around his world that kept Ophis, Kurayami and Kuromi trapped was a blood-red bounded field set up by Xargomoth.
Yellow lightning crackled along with it which felt just as strong as Kurayami's. Cursed runes and sigils were all over it, making him look straight up to look at the Demon of his nightmares.
"Xargomoth, we meet again."
Xargomoth knew what he meant, but he was curious.
'I have never met you, but I can see a pure rage and fear in your soul. I did something terrible to you in your timeline. Good.'
Kanzaki grit his teeth as he tried to keep his memories from resurfacing. When facing a Demon they fed on your fear and one of Xargomoth's level was a threat to his mind. Sadly the moment he looked into Xargomoth's eyes it was too late.
A guttural laugh came from Xargomoth's throat as he saw what his counterpart did.
'I see, in the future, the humans live in cities where the beast tides attack nonstop. Humans are trained in combat from the time they are 3 and you were just one of them.'
Kanzaki created a holy sword that could counter Devils and Demons. Xargomoth only glanced at it and kept taunting him. He could not escape anyway, not easily at least.
'Your city remained hidden in a separate dimension you created and lived in peace until I found it.'
"SHUT UP!"
'I found it and my master ordered me to level it. I killed every last person you ever cared about, I murdered every single one while all you could do it cry and beg me to stop. You were the last one left.'
Kanzaki placed his hand on Issei's left arm and spoke to Ddraig. his negative emotions were already flowing toward Xargomoth and the Demon was just toying with him like his kind was famous for.
'Ddraig, come over to me. I can trick Issei's body to think you are still with him.'
'He is on borrowed time, Kurayami left me alive.'
'I know, please.'
'Fine.'
Kanzaki downloaded Ddraig's soul like a program and created a core to implant into his armor.
"Xargomoth, I will not die this day."
"Transcendental Boosted Arrival"
The three Longinous gave their power to Kanzaki as Ddraig boosted his power to maximize his power. Xargomoth grinned, as this kind of challenge was just a daily occurrence in the Wrath ring. No, Kanzaki was not even worth that much.
Oliver and the other Devils decided to work together with Xargomoth and they were all on his back. That was the safest place for them, but Kanzaki knew that he only had 2 minutes at most. Kurayami had already destroyed one of the 2 sent toward him.
Kuromi was close to killing hers and Ophis had learned and was also about to kill hers. Everything had gone so wrong so soon, Issei was all but dead and his team was not good enough for this mission.
The scale mail appeared on his body, but it looked more mechanical. Ddraig continued to Boost every second and a lot of that energy was used to strengthen the world that Kurayami was in. The other part of it was used to create 3 Anti Demon machines along with hundreds of foot soldiers.
They looked like angel knights and they glowed in pure holy energy. Their chest glowed bright red as he started to use up even more of his life span to create a Boosted Gear replica for a core.
'This is more like it.'
Xargomoth rushed forward and every step he took turned the ground red. A demon of his level while weak in Hell, was a threat that was considered a walking calamity. Kanzaki had to find a way to break the Bounded field around him so he could escape.
He sealed Issei in a small world that was just made to heal and keep him alive.
'Ddraig, I am going to need even more power.'
'Take it.'
The three strongest Anti Machines were created for different purposes. The biggest one had the thickest armor and used a giant greatsword. The second was a shielder and had a pair of glowing divine shields.
The third took the ranger position and a giant machine gun was held in its hands. They all had 12 wings that were full of different cannons, shields, and blasters. They were the strongest he had ever created and probably ever would.
Using another Longinous was already draining more of his lifespan as unlike the first two he had he could not make the perfect method to control it. Xargomoth teleported the Devils on his back away as he and Kanzaki's machines were about to clash.
"I am not dying here De-"
He could not even say a thing as he heard an explosion behind him making him see that Kurayami had blasted out of his sealed world. He was in his Dragon Form and on his head were Ophis and Kuromi who looked at Kanzaki with looks that could kill.
Kuromi's armor was full of cracks as the Anti Machines that they had to face were true marvels. They were almost alive with the amount of his life span that he sacrificed to make them. As such each one was a true marvel similar to the ones that Xargomoth was about to face.
"FUCK!"
Kanzaki burned more of his lifespan to the point where he started to look like an 80-year-old man. His magic kept flowing through his body to keep him as healthy as possible. He used the extra 30 years he burned to create Three even stronger Anti Machines.
Kurayami was still searching for Issei, but seeing even more Anti Machines annoyed him. They were made to counter him so they wee annoying foes to fight. Still, he felt he just found the perfect gift for Latia.
She would love to make so many badass machines that he was going to take those gauntlets from Kanzaki when he killed him. To make sure that he would not flee, he set up a second Bounded Field under the one that Xargomoth made."
"I am getting sick and tired of those Anti Machines."
"You and me both dad."
Kuromi had been fighting Anti Machines that Kanzai created all the time to try to fight the beasts remotely. She had only ever fought him in person just before he traveled to the past so these were the strongest ones she ever had to face.
Kurayami glanced at the three new Anti machines and noticed they looked like humanoid dragons. They were armored to the teeth with Anti Dragon weapons and their power kept on rising because of the Boosted Gear-like cores.
"I have got to give those to Latia."
Ophis nodded.
"That girl will go crazy when she sees what she can make with those. We did leave the Anti Machines mostly intact so she can study them."
Kuromi nodded.
"Aunty always loved to study the ones I brought back. Giving it to her will be perfect."
Seeing that they were being ignored made the Machines angry. The life force that flowed in their metal gave birth to an ego that was similar to that of a dragon. The lead one drew a giant ax while a magnitude of weapons was aimed at Kurayami by the other two.
Kuromi sighed as she saw that all the weapons these three had contained Samael's poison. She looked at Ophis who might not be as resistant to it as she had her father.
"Can you handle it?"
Ophis nodded.
"I got it."
Both of them charged forward as they were ready for another brutal fight. As for Kurayami all over his body crackled scales healed while Shin jumped toward him and landed on his nose horn. The dog was rather large, but he still looked small compared to his master.
The Dragon Knight grabbed a tower shield from its back as it flew around Kurayami. There was a standstill as Kurayami looked into the optics of the machine. They looked alive so he decided to try something.
"How about you serve me?"
Kanzaki scoffed as he created two swords that were made to fight Demons and Dragons.
"They are machines Kurayami. They will not serve you."
The Dragon knight glanced at Kanzaki before he flew next to Kurayami. The two that Ophis and Kuromi were about to fight did the same making Kanzaki feel pure shock.
"WHAT ARE YOU DOING! I MADE YOU!"
Kurayami let him in on the secret.
"Kanzaki, what am I?"
"A monster."
Kurayami nodded.
"Try again, literally this time."
That seemed to set off a reaction in Kanzaki's mind making him look at the medallion around his neck.
"Ddraig, why?"
The power of the Boosted Gear was canceled and so was his new Balance Breaker. The medallion flew toward Kurayami and landed in his hands. Ddraig left him with an apology.
'I am sorry. I was promised freedom from my prison.'
Kanzaki fell to his knees as he felt his age catching up to him. Losing control of his machines like this was only possible as they were made with the power of Ddraig. They might be machines, but they still had the instincts and should of beasts.
He glanced at his Angle machines and saw that they were fortunately not turning on him. The lead one clashed over and over with the giant body of Xargomoth. The giant sword clashed against the hoofs, horns, and crystals of Xargomoth while the machinegunner kept firing its weapons and bullets at him
A nonstop bombardment from the machinegun and the sword slashes kept cracking crystals, but no blood flowed. Xargomoth was outpacing the battle AI and even the new souls these new machines had were not enough.
They were dealing with a champion and a survivor of the Wrath ring. Not a single day went by when the inhabitants of the Wrath ring were not fighting and killing something. Xargomoth was reminded of his home where he nearly died every day.
The holy and Anti Demon magic placed on the weapons hurt him, but the pain just pushed him to further levels of savagery. Each and every one of the crystal growths on his holy cracked with lightning while a blood orb flew above his horns.
Kurayami did not interfere as he could feel that Xargomoth missed him home in Hell. Peace was a new feeling that the Demon could not appreciate any longer. The influence of the Wrath ring took away the joy of peace and left the lust for battle.
The wide snarl on his face was a good reason why Kurayami left his friend to his devices. The shielder charged forward when it sensed the danger in the red orb. The orb floated down and entered the head of Xargomoth.
He opened his mouth as the crystals around his face crackled with lightning. A blood-red ray of destruction hit the giant shield of the angel robot that cut through the shield and the core like it was not even there.
The machine fell limp as its core was destroyed, but the overall machine was intact. The other two froze for a millisecond, but that was forever in a battle of this scale. Xargomoth rose to his back legs and swatted the machinegunner out of the air.
The ground turned to razor-sharp crystals that impelled its body and head putting it out of commission. Kurayami looked at the medallion in his hands and communicated with Draig.
'Have the three Dragon Knights restrain it. I want it alive.'
'Alright.'
The three Dragon Knight charged forward while it was distracted and restained it. The giant machine struggled, but things went silent when the lead Dragon Knight carefully removed the core that made the entire machine go limp.
Kanzaki fell to his knees as there was no escape. Kurayami, Kuromo, Ophis, Xargomoth, Shin, and three Dragon Knight machines on their level had him surrounded. He felt his gauntlets being removed and saw they floated into Kurayami's giant hand.
Kurayami decided to speak to Kanzaki as he deiced what to do with him.
"Thank you, Kanzaki. I hold no hatred for you, but the same can't be said for your friend. Give him to me and I will let you live."
Kanzaki did not speak as he had already given up. He did not want to give up on Issei, but Issei was all but dead. The moment he left his world and Ddraig cut the link they shared he would die anyway.
"Kill me. I beg you, leave Earth the way it is. It is not great, but the future you plan for it will lead to pure suffering. Look at my memories, they do not deserve that."
Kurayami returned to his human form and he walked in front of Kanzaki who stayed on his knees. Rebellion and Submission stood behind him while Shin sat in front of him.
"Are humans the only ones deserving of mercy?"
Kanzaki knew where this was going as he already heard this.
"Animals are animals, people are people. What you do to Earth is beyond cruel."
Kurayami shook his head as he created a sword of light.
"That is where you are wrong. Xargomoth gave me all your memories and I can see that the animals and monsters are thriving. They will number in the billions and each one of them will be sentient. I see that as the greater good. Tell me where he is?"
Kanzaki knew it was pointless so he just stayed quiet. Ddraig who was around Kurauami's neck spoke up.
'He is 50 meters to your left. The hidden dimension is well hidden. He will die soon.'
Kurayami sent a strand of his magic into the medallion where Ddraig's soul was and used it to see where Issei was. In the tiny world that Kanzaki made for him, there was only a healing tank that pumped Issei full of healing magic to keep him alive.
Issei screamed in agony despite that pain killers had been administered as this was a soul pain. He wanted to die and even his body made from the Flesh of Great Red kept dying.
"There you are."
Kurayami ripped into the word and ripped out Issei from his healing pod. The moment he was out he started to fall apart. Kanzaki rushed to his friend but Rebellion and Submission held him down to watch by his limbs.
"LEAVE HIM ALONE!"
Kurayami walked toward Issei and placed his foot on his chest.
"AHHHH, KILL ME!"
"No. I normally would be most angry about you talking about my women, but that is not the worst thing you did. Call it the rage of a father and your words about my daughter cannot be forgiven. Kuromi, you hate him the most. What do you want to do with him?"
Kuromi looked at the most hateful and disgusting pervert she had ever seen.
"Kill him, he is not worthy of torture."
She drew one other chain sword and walked toward Issei. Kurayami cut the link between Ddraig and Issei and watched how Issei stopped squirming. He went limp while his body broke down at a rapid rate.
"NO! Issei."
Kanzaki went limp as he was still pinned down. Kuromi raised her hand and made sure not even a cell of Issei remained behind. As for this Ddraig, Kurayami made a familiar pact with him and sent him to the familiar space.
'Ddraig, you are nothing but a soul right now. Take some time to rebuild your soul.'
'Alright.'
Kurayami glanced at Rebellion and Submission.
"Kill him."
Kanzaki yelled in rage as both sword spirits stabbed their weapons into his body. Rebellion even cut his head off to make sure the job was done. Kurayami decided that it was better to incinerate his foes to make sure they did die.
He raised his hand and ripped out the soul of Kanzaki and ate it. He would look at his memories later, but he still made sure to burn the body to nothingness. Kuromi sighed as she looked at Kurayami.
"Dad, I wanted to-"
He raised his hand to stop her from talking.
"I want you to stay. Call me a softy, but I can't just let my daughter die."
Kuromi removed her helmet and looked at Ophis who spoke up.
"You might not be the daughter that he personally convived but you are the one he met. Trust me, this guy here will raze Hell before he will see you erased. He can't let his future self exist, you are a different story."
Xargomoth returned to his tiny form and jumped on Kurayami's shoulder.
'Stay. I like you and so does the master.'
Kurayami walked up to her and placed his hand behind her head and hugged her. She might be tall compared to most people, but her father always made her feel tiny.
"Why?"
"Because I am your father. That is all there is to it."
She hugged him tightly before she accepted.
"Thank you."
She let go of him as she had an idea.
"What do you intend to rename your daughter?"
Kurayami shrugged.
"I will figure it out. Come on then, time to return to the Dimensional Gap. I got so many gifts for Latia that the others will be jealous."
Ophis had a thoughtful look on her face as se thought of their original plan.
"When do we go to Hell?"
Kurayami thought about it and had a plan.
"6 months. I will offer it as a challenge for the girls. Anyone who can go through a second sublimation at least will be able to come. Kuromi, did future me go to Hell?"
"He did. Although my timeline is just that, a timeline. What happened over there might not be as useful to you. For one, I think you got far more potential than you did in my timeline. Something about you not being supposed to have alternatives."
Kurayami understood it well.
"My soul was not supposed to exist so existence tries to make it as normal as possible. Seems they are failing as I have alternative timelines, but not alternative universes. It is so interesting and annoying. I got to think of a way to keep both you and the one in Kuroka's belly alive when you go through your existence trials."
That was another issue, but it just made a challenge for Kurayami. He ripped a hole in space big enough to bring the 2 Dragon Knights who were 10 meters tall. The lead one was 15 meters tall and they had to drag the inactive Angel Knight with them. Kurayami knew that Latia was going to go crazy studying the Machines that they were bringing back.
He also had to give her these gauntlets to her as they just seemed to match her. They all walked into the portal while Kurayami made new plans to make the training of the girls as smooth as possible. Hell was no joke from what he saw from Xargomoth's memories.
'So much to do. I am not getting bored anytime soon though.'
