I took a long walk in Red storm. I walked in their forest like it was my own land.

I was trespassing but I needed to get as far away from everyone.

Far away from the wagging tongues, far away from civilization, far away from Ari and his ridiculous plan, far away from Moonie's cloudy eyes.

Just as far away from everyone and anyone.

To walk as far away as I can until it was just me…and my thoughts, trying to figure out my next move, one that doesn't involve losing my daughter or sentencing Kaley to death over what her sister did or forcing my son into an unwanted union.

Ari's outrageous plan to have his brother wed Alpha Kaley came with a lot of advantages like Owen being an Alpha to a pack and Kaley finally safe from Lucious's snare and most importantly, it ensured that my promise to my daughter that I wouldn't consider marrying Kaley was kept.
