I tried to control my pounding heart but I…I couldn't. It was out of control.

 It was definitely out of control.

 I dropped the phone I was holding on the bed and I tried to pull myself together.

My eyes wandered to the clock on the table and it was a few minutes past seven in the night.

Wait? What happened to time?

It was supposed to be 5pm.

I tried to recall the event from a few hours ago, I was at Emily's highschool and then I was throwing an ice pick at the screen that was displaying an embarrassing video of the woman I love and then what?

What happened after?

I needed to remember or I would never get my out of control heart in control..I closed my eyes and I took a deep breath.
