Chapter 212: my source of confidence 

Emily's POV 

"Are you sure you are okay?" Waylen asked me.

"Yeah…but I wish you were here with me. Anyhoo, you must be on your way to Africa" I asked him.

"Yes"

Waylen and I spoke for a couple of minutes before I hung up. I took a deep breath and I called one of the agents in charge of protecting me to get all the information I needed for the reunion. If I was going to battle, I would not be caught unprepared.

I arrived at the reunion just the right amount of late. I could see most of my classmates entering with their mates or boyfriends and some like me were without a date.

I made my way inside and I stopped at the table to pick up my name tag.

"Name please?"

"Emily…I mean Emily Cole" 

I saw the look on the lady's face. It might have taken Jodie awhile to remember me but I remembered the mean bitch alright. 

Jodie Nathan wasn't a face I was going to forget in a hurry.
