Bab 613: Shadow of Hope

In the midst of the chaos, Balanar found himself facing off against two degu users, a man named Leif and a woman named Adira. They both attacked him with their elemental powers, but Balanar effortlessly dodged their attacks and launched his own.

Leif and Adira tried to dodge, but Balanar was too quick for them. He grabbed them by their throats and lifted them off the ground.

"You think you can defeat me with such weak attacks?" Balanar chuckled. "You are nothing but insects to me."

Leif and Adira struggled to break free from Balanar's grasp, but it was no use. They knew they were going to die, but they refused to give up.

"Even if we die, we will never give up our fight," Leif said, his voice strained.

Adira nodded in agreement. "We fight for our home and our people. And we will fight until the very end."

Balanar smirked and tightened his grip on their throats. "Then I guess this is the end for you."
