"There was no point in saving him, Ryan. He's going to die with the rest of you anyways."
Like everyone else, Ryan had been frantically looking around at these intruders, trying to find out what was going on. When Alex spoke those words it felt like a switch had been flipped inside his head and he understood what was happening.
"This is all your doing!" Ryan charged at Alex, almost matching the speed of Jack's first attack.
'He's fast but still slower than Jack, I can block it with ease as long as-' The fist that was aiming for Alex's face connected with his forearm but instead of blocking the attack like Alex expected, something else happened.
His forearm bent and slammed into his face, transferring all of the remaining force to his head as he was throw backwards through the air. His body slammed into the wall on the other side of the room, creating cracks that spread from the point of impact as he fell to the floor.
