Clearly, Shadow Lane wasn't planning to explain herself, she just wanted Nux to come inside his shadow as soon as it was possible, something that Nux understood, therefore, he quickly used the Power of Shadow Demons, trying to get inside his shadow, but suddenly, he froze as he realized something,

It was being pulled inside his shadow on its own, yes, even if he wasn't using the power of the Shadow Demon, he was still able to enter his own shadow.
