Mindy played with the whistle she was holding while she waited for Defiance to come down from her bedroom.

She jumped up and down and blew it several times, she was obviously happy about something.

"Come on already!" She yelled on top of her voice

"Coming! Can't find my shoe!" Defiance yelled back from her bedroom.

"Stop being a grandma, we are going to be late" She placed the whistle in her mouth once again and blew it as loud as she could like she was a referee and Defiance's house was a soccer field. She was still blowing the whistle when Franklin wandered inside the living room with his son Ethan. They were wearing red jerseys in support of white oak soccer team.

She kept blowing the whistle until Franklin reached out and pulled it out of her mouth.

"Are you trying to deafen us, child?" Franklin asked.
