Alexander turned her around and kissed her nose.

"Because I don't run in the face of a challenge and I was besotted the first moment I saw you, Jamie of Namura"

"Well, I was besotted with you too; I just didn't know how to show it too. It might be the fact that you kidnapped me" Jamie told him.

"I never apologized for that, did I?" Alexander asked her.

"No, but don't. I wouldn't change a thing about our encounter, Milord. It's perfect" Jamie said and kissed him.

Alexander lifted her up easily and placed her on the bed. He kissed her neck then he pulled away to push out rogue strands of hair away from her face.

"Well, I would change something" Alexander whispered to her.

"Is it the knife to your throat?"

"No"

"Was it when I kidnapped your sister?"

"No but don't do that again" He answered.
