Hayate watched the great river flowing gently below the valley and smiled a little because this caused a continuous echo in the area. Cheon Ma confirmed there was a treasure deep inside this place, which means the river was natural protection.
"Can you show me the Thousand Years Old Yin-Yang Pond?" He asked, to which the Heavenly Demon responded with a nod.
Tang Chen listened to them meticulously and asked, "Is it okay for me to follow you guys?" Just that place's name alone sounds important for a lowly demonic soldier like me..."
"Nah, don't worry about it. I'm the new leader of this place, and you're my first subordinate here. Cheon Ma here could be considered your junior recruitment." Hayate returned casually, leaving Cheon Ma speechless for a moment. However, he was indeed right.
"Do you want me to call you senior?" The former Heavenly Demon questioned.
Tang Chen shook his head violently and shouted, "N-No Way! I can't do that to you, cult leader."
"Is that so? I don't have a problem with it because I think tradition is important, after all." Cheon Ma responded and stared at Tang Chen silently. He could see the young demon was quite nervous, so he decided not to push it even further.
Hayate chuckled and said, "Let's go."

Cheon Ma guided them into the cult and arrived at the grand hall filled with cold air. There are several presences within this place, having the strength of Sky Profound Realms. It's not bad, considering the Heavenly Demon Cult doesn't have many resources.
"Tiger, Snake, Turtle, and Bird, come here!" The former Heavenly Demon yelled while releasing his qi, causing the hall to tremble slightly.
Hayate glanced at the ceiling and watched four people dropping like dying flies. Two men and women are wearing animal masks and long martial art robes. They are supposedly the elder of the Heavenly Demon Cult, having influence in this place for 69 years when Cheon Ma was meditating in a close training ground.
"They aren't that special. Are you sure you have been here for one hundred years?" Hayate commented with a yawn. "The development is worse than I thought."
Cheon Ma sighed and said, "It's easy for you to say that, young leader. I'm the second Heavenly Demon of the Heavenly Demon Cult, but the profound way isn't my forte. I have to sacrifice many things to reach the Sovereign Profound Realm."
"Not to mention the compatibility of cultivation arts I brought here to profound energy is weak. I had to rock my brain for ten years to grasp it." He added, feeling a little bit down.

"Hmm, Why so quiet?"
"S-Sir, did you say young leader??" A woman with a tiger mask asked with a trembling voice. "This young man is?"
"He's no more than 18..."
Cheon Ma frowned and replied indifferently, "Since when did one's appearance show strength? This young man is the new Heavenly Demon of the Heavenly Demon Cult. You shall call him a young leader from now on."
"Stop there. I'll take the lead from here." Hayate walked toward the tiger-masked woman. "Well, you're not that bad for martial art practitioners. And sadly, your vision is too poor."
"Gather everyone here. I'll announce this change of leader by myself!"

The cult trembled because of the young man's voice, entering every cave within the valley. Cheon Ma smiled and nodded because the straightforward way was the best. No complicated nonsense, and just absolute domination.
Cheon Man told the elder to gather the Demonic Generals inside the cult and waited in the hall with Hayate. "Does Wakoku, Fuma Clan teach you how to lead like that?" He asked naturally.
Hayate shrugged and answered, "The Fuma Clan of my era is calm compared to this. We ran a business under a big company name and did some shady missions."
"As expected of the Wakoku Assassin Clan." Cheon Ma shook his head in defeat. "From your explanation, we are from a different era. How much difference in years do we have?"
Hayate pondered for a moment because he didn't know when the Heavenly Demon's Legend was spreading in his world. Still, Cheon Ma could be from a completely different world but with the same background.
After a good few minutes, Hayate opened his mouth and concluded, "Around 10-11 centuries."
"That long??" Cheon Ma's eyes widened in awe because the years gap was too big, which means the Heavenly Demon Cult's legend survived for so long. Yet, He couldn't help but smile when thinking about it.
How could he not be happy, knowing his cult legend has been renowned for eleven centuries?
A large group of demonic practitioners came into the hall, kneeling on the ground instantly when seeing Cheon Ma. "WE GREET THE HEAVENLY DEMON, CHEON MA!" They shouted at the top of their lungs.
"You guys are loud, huh." Hayate jumped from the podium and landed in the hall.
BOOM!
A cloud of dust swept over the area when Hayate landed on the hall heavily. He swiped some dust from his clothes and observed the whole group with his eyes.
"Fifty people, ages 29-90, and you guys are called the Demonic Practitioner with these weak cultivations?"
"Anyway, I'll say this once! I'm your new leader. People who don't acknowledge my words will get beaten by me." Hayate's golden eyes shone dimly.
"WHO THE HELL ARE YOU?!!" An idiot shouted in the crowd, making things easier for Hayate.
Hayate kicked the ground and rushed to the person at incredible speed, leaving a shockwave behind. The target's eyes widened because he couldn't catch Hayate's movement, raising his arms to guard the wrong place.
"Artillery Arts: Thunder Qi." Hayate's palm thoroughly was coated with dense lightning.
Cheon Ma leaned on a wall and said, "He already created a variant of Heavenly Demon Art. What an unfair monster."
BAM!
The Demonic General literally was sent flying to the wall with his bare stomach exposed and a burnt palm mark on it. The other Demonic Generals watched this scenery with age.
Hayate defeated Demonic Generals one by one, and some even teamed up to fight him back. They are "definitely." trained and have a better physique than cultivators from Profound Sky Continent. Heavenly Demon Cult's teaching is better in the physical aspect, after all.
"Still green nonetheless. Let's not talk about fighting the four holy lands. Little Ghost alone would wipe all of them to the floor without wasting her breaths."
Hayate kicked the last Demon Generals and rolled his sleeve because it might get dirty from their blood. He tilted his head to the left and dodged a kunai from the snake-masked guy.
"Oh?"
"Hidden Weapons." He stomped the floor and destroyed the tile into pieces, grabbing one rubble to get thrown at the snake-masked guy. "Artillery Arts: Thunder Qi."
Hayate's Thunder Qi covered the whole rubble and flew across the field, smashing and pushing the poor snake-masked guy into the ceiling.
Clank!
A sword hovered over Hayate's head, and he used his finger to fight it, causing a metallic sound in the field. His Dragon God's Physique is considered one of the best in this world.
"N-No way." A bird-masked woman watched her sword casually stopped by Hayate's finger. A roundhouse kick welcomed her face, stomping her onto the ground.
The tiger-masked woman and turtle-masked guy raised their hands in defeat. "We surrender to the young leader." This monster, there was no way they could defeat him.
Just looking at the bloody field was enough to send a shiver to the tiger-masked woman's spine. She expected Hayate to be a decently-talented youth, but his strength was beyond her assumption.
'Your vision is too poor.' She remembered Hayate's words.
"That was enough beating, I guess." Hayate picked up a handkerchief and wiped his hands clean, jumping back to the podium.
Cheon Ma smirked and reassured, "You can beat them even more, you know? I won't stop you because this was your rule."
"No, I'm good. Let's go to that place first." Hayate replied while burning the handkerchief with Phoenix Flame.
"Sure, follow me." Cheon Ma nodded naturally.

"Tiger, clean this place."
"What actually happened here??!" The tiger-masked woman dropped to the floor.
