With calculated strides, Maya approached her parents, "mom, dad! Can someone please tell me what the fuck is going on here?"

Amelia slapped her palm over her mouth while Blake looked away.

The temperature in the room dropped, and they heard Amelia's shallow breaths. In addition, Blake slapped his hands above his chest, fearing that his daughter would hear how hard it was beating.

Then… Clack! Clack!

The sound from the bedroom echoed through the house. Their eyes shot towards the door. Blake's hand dropped, "Armando!" He half-whispered. Glaring at her parents, Maya sent a clear message to them, "this isn't over."

Sprinting to Armando's bedroom, Maya pushed away the bad thoughts threatening to resurface in her mind. She arrived at the door first, and pushed it, the scene in front immediately broke her heart. Was there a tornado in here? She wondered the exact thing Blake did too.
