Some time had passed since the Ouroboros Pirates left East Blue.
In East Blue, they came to Cocoyasi Village to pick up Nojiko.
Nojiko who had just joined, now was already used to sailing and on good terms with the rest of the crew. Moreover, there are many fellow women in the crew, so Nojiko is not awkward and can adapt quickly.
In East Blue, the Ouroboros Pirates also briefly stopped at Shimotsuki Village which is Kuina's hometown.
Now, they are sailing again across the first half of the Grand Line, Paradise.
One day, Nojiko who had just taken a bath with Muse said to Lepus.
"Lepus-san, our water supply seems to be running low."
"Oh okay...."
After listening to Nojiko, Lepus then called out to Ryzer who was up in the crow's nest.
"Ryzer, find the nearest island from here!"
"Yes, Captain!"
Hearing his Captain's orders, Ryzer took binoculars to search for the nearest island.
And not long after, Ryzer saw an island and he called out to Lepus.
"Captain, there's a seemingly uninhabited island at 10 o'clock from our position!"
Hearing that, Lepus nodded then shouted at Boris who was holding the helm of the ship.
"Okay.... Boris, steer the ship! We'll have a short stop on the island!"
"Aye aye!"
Boris received the order and steered the ship towards the island in question.
Some time later, the ship Jormungandr arrived near the island. However, because in the waters around the island there are many corals and shallows, Lepus ordered to anchored quite far from the island.
Then Lepus said to his crew.
"You guys stay on the ship. I'll find a water source."
Since the ship couldn't dock on the coast of the island, they had no choice but to leave the water resupplying to Lepus because Lepus was the only one who could carry large water barrels by relying on the gap.
Lepus then went alone to the island.

Arriving on the island, Lepus immediately looked for a water spring and he managed to find it close a clear river with small waterfall.
And when Lepus cleared the thickets around the spring, Lepus found something that surprised him!
"Isn't this!?"
It was a small pyramid-like fruit with the size of a hand, dark gray in color, with green stems, and covered in a pattern of black swirl stripes. Seeing the appearance of that thing, Lepus certainly realized what it was.
"Devil fruit!"
Lepus then smiled wryly as he picked up the devil fruit.
"I didn't think I could be this lucky."
Lepus then kept the devil fruit in the storage in his gap, then proceeded to clear the bushes and fill the water barrel he brought with him with clear water from the spring.
After that, he took out the Devil Fruit Encylopedia. And after he looks through it, he found that apparently the devil fruit that he just got is Hebi Hebi no Mi: Dragonsnake.
After a while, Lepus got bored just waiting for the big water barrel to be full. So he decided to do something else.
"Hmm.... I'll take a walk."
