More than 2 years have passed since Lepus and his girls lived on Buttham Island.
One day, suddenly Gillian came to their house with a young man.
And Gillian then spoke.
"Lepus-san, we need help...."

30 minutes ago....
Gillian who was at the Boggart Family's residence and was caring her daughter, Eris, was suddenly notified by a maid that a guest had come looking for her.
Gillian was quite confused and wondered who had come.
Usually, if there were guests it was guests for her father-in-law or any other members of the Boggart Family.
So, It's very unusual for guests this time is for her
Gillian picked up her daughter and headed into the living room.
Arriving in the living room, Gillian saw a young man sitting on the sofa and Gillian was quite surprised and confused.
".... Max?"
Seeing Gillian coming, the young man, Max, looked relieved.
"Gillian-san...."
Gillian then sat down and asked Max.
"Max, why are you here? And where is Sera? Why isn't she with you?"
Sera is Gillian's younger cousin.
Although Gillian's and Sera's age is quite far apart, Gillian is currently 33 years old and Sera is 21 years old and they are both just cousins, but Sera Gillian has a fairly close and close relationship like siblings.
Meanwhile, Max is Sera's fiancé.
Gillian knew of their relationship, so she also considered Max like her own brother-in-law.
"About that.... Sera...."
Seeing Max who seemed hesitant to speak, Gillian frowned.
"Did something happen to Sera?"
Max then still hesitantly said.
"Sera.... arrested by the Marines."
"What!? How can that be!?"
Gillian was surprised to hear Max's confession.
Then Max explained how it happened.
"We were framed. At first we both contacted a broker to find and catch a fugitive bandit. But, after we caught him and then took him to Marine Headquarters to be handed over and collect the bounty reward, there we were ambushed and surrounded! We were arrested. And the Commander of Marine base in there said we were arrested on charges of being involved with pirates. But, then they released me and the Commander said if I want Sera to be released too, then I have to hand over 100 million Beri!"
Then Max paused to catch his breath and then continued talking.
"We're accused of being criminals, but that obviously not true! We're actually hunting criminals instead even though whom we after are only criminals with a bounty of less than 5 million Beri! .... Because of that, I suspect this is a corrupt Marine conspiracy. And I don't know where and how, but I suspect they know our true identities and backgrounds. Otherwise, there's no reason for them to arrest us, but willing to release us on the condition that they have to pay that much ransom.... I want to release Sera! But I don't have that much money! And 'they' surely won't really care what happens to us either!"
The 'them' that Max meant were Max & Sera's background.
The two of them are actually the main offsprings of two big mafia families in West Blue!
The relationship between their two families, the Rechts and Lifths, was actually quite good. However, several years ago a bad incident occurred which caused the two families to become enemies.
And because their families are now enemies, Max and Sera who are adults and love each other must be separated. But they both don't want to be apart, so Max and Sera decide to quietly leave the house and leave their family behind.
Neither of them knew where to go, but then Sera remembered her older cousin, Gillian, who was in the Boggart Family on Buttham Island and they both decided to meet her. Gillian also provided some help for them.
In fact, Gillian was also the daughter of a big mafia.
But her family, the Bellucci Family, about 10 years ago fell apart.
Gillian's father later took his own life. While her mother had long died of illness when Gillian was a teenager.
Fortunately, the Bellucci Family quietly had a fairly good relationship with the Boggart Family which had a large shipping industry.
Alain Boggart who knew Gillian's fate finally decided to protect her and took her to Buttham Island. Alain tells Gillian that he intends to marry Gillian to his eldest son, Boris. Even so, Alain didn't force Gillian to marry Boris either. If Gillian didn't want to be his daughter-in-law, then Alain would have no problem considering her as an adopted daughter.
But after living with the Boggarts for a while, Gillian fell in love and wanted to marry Boris because she was comfortable with Boris's outspoken and humorous nature, but can also be assertive and considerate at times.

After listening to Max's explanation and in silence for a while, Gillian finally spoke.
".... This matter is too complicated. And you know I can't involve and trouble the Boggart Family for this matter."
"Then, how?"
Max frowned.
Then Gillian stood up and said.
"Follow me. Let's meet someone who might be able to help."
Gillian then takes Max to Lepus' house.
