Bab 4: The Last River and a exiting prospect

*The Last River, The North, 3rd Moon of 275 AC*

After leaving the Stark camp Ragnar traveled through The North towards Skagos, his journey ,till now, was uneventful. He didn't stumble into any traps or any bandits… till now there is.

During his time cutting through the heart of The North, Ragnar decided to test his power, he casted a fireball at a nearby tree, obliterating it… after that he knew his magic was working. He felt it in his bones, and how could he not? He was probably one of, if not THE, most powerful mage there ever was, his talent for the arcane was unquestionably feared and admired by all of Tamriel, as was his skill with the Sword, axe or hammer for the matter. Ragnar deduced that all the itens he possessed in Skyrim could be summoned, he didn't know where from; but he knew it worked just like any kind of conjuration.

Ragnar learned a lot about the North during his time exploring it. In these 3 months, or moons as they call it here, he would always look for a inn to sleep when he was feeling tired from the journey and by doing that he would always end up talking to innkeepers and locals. He would talk about his mission and how he planned on changing Skagos, the locals for the most of the time felt indifferent to it all but they ALL welcomed this whole "make the North Strong and great" idea eagerly, some even promised to visit the Island once it was "pacified". The most strange thing for Ragnar was that no one seemed to doubt him or his capabilities to accomplish his mission, he found it mildly disturbing when Lord Stark just told him to go and subjugate the Island by himself, but he attributed this to the fact he had wiped out 10 wildlings in less than 30 seconds. Ragnar didn't know it but there was something about him that made people believe he was capable of everything, it was almost "divine-ish". Another thing Ragnar found strange was that all his 17 million septins became gold dragons… he didn't know how exactly it happened, but he found it useful nonetheless.

It was the first time since he departed from the Stark Camp that Ragnar decided to camp instead of trying to find a town or an Inn to sleep in. He decided to camp at a river bank of The Last river. "The Last River" is a famous river of the north, it cuts trough the easternmost past of the Northern Territory and if managed well it could become a important part for the Skagos/rets of The North trade relations.

Ragnar had just finished to set up his makeshift tent and lit the fire, he didn't even needed to go out to get firewood as he just summoned them from whatever the place his stuff from Skyrim were. Ragnar felt a cold breeze touching his face and as a good Nord he took a deep breath and smile to it, as it reminded him of home. Ragnar was wearing a black tunic with a leather vest on top of it, his trousers were black and he was also wearing a black bear's fur cloak, it looked rather menacing and although it was a fur cloak it didn't make him look savage or barbaric, it made him look like a Lord of The North, which he was.

Ragnar had been seated by the fire for hours thinking about how to proceed with his conquest, he couldn't call Odahviing, as powerful as the old dragon was he could no breach through dimensions or space time to get to him and a Dragon would help him a lot in his conquest, not that the dragon had more destructive power than him it was more about how the people of Westeros respected/feared Dragons… it was then that Ragnar had an idea…

_ "DUR NEH VIIR" he shouted and for a moment nothing seemed to happened; but then out of nothing a undead dragon appeared in front of Ragnar.

_ "Qahnaarin thuri, I have answered your call" The undead dragon said with a contemplative, a little confused and a somewhat pained expression on his rotten scaly face, and before Ragnar could say anything the Dragon once again spoke.

_"Qahnaarin thuri, you have freed me from the ideal masters, there are no words to describe how Dun, grateful, I am… but without mulaag, without their power, I shall face Oblaan, my death. Kogaan Dovahkiin thuri, I shall face death as a free Dovah." The Dragon then bowed but Ragnar would not have it this way.

"Geh, Durnehviir, Losai fent luft Oblaan Stin Dov nuz ni nu… Slen Tiid Vo!"[1] Ragnar shouted at the Dragon, and from his month came a golden light that hit the dragon and illuminated the dark night.

[1]- Yes, Durnehvirr, you shall face death as a free dragon, but not today

A/N: Yeepp Ragnar finally used his thum… the ideal masters , or any Daedric prince for the matter have no power in Planetos, they don't even know it exists ( And probably never will) hence the magic that kept Durnehviir from dying no longer has effect
