Yes, Ling can take back the cores he was going to sell at the unknown here. But the thing here was too embarrassing as both of them already agreed on that amount. Luckily, Hary was on his back and willing to help him once there was something happened to his character.

When Hary said this was the last chance he would help him. Ling knew those words had content, knowing Hary already gave him an opportunity to earn money on his own so he must stand on his feet.

"Sorry about this, Hary. I forgot about the monster cores since I never died even once." He said in a shy tone and seated next to him.

A sigh Hary came out of his mouth. "Don't be overconfident, Ling. You didn't know what would happen next in the VR World." He opened his eyes, knowing that he can't sleep if this best friend was nearby. "Oh, wait. Where did you get those cores? It's too high for your current level."
