Bab 547: Seen him yet
"Of course... I can't even blame her, why am I surprised?" asked Dom as he scoffed and shook his head, he should have known his sister's motto, bigger is better, and he should not have expected any less from her.
"I wonder why you're surprised Dominic, after all you know that your grandfather loves to party, that's where Lulu got it from, he personally checked through the guest list himself and gave his seal of approval before she even sent out the invites." said Margaret as she laughed.
"Right, anyway, their just lucky that the hall has a second floor, or else it would be too full." said Dom as he sighed.
"Well that is lucky, anyway, has anyone seen Nine?" asked Natasha as she put her phone back in the hidden pocket of her dress.
"No, we have not seen him yet." replied Margaret.
"Well he just texted me and asked where we were." she replied.
"I'm sure that he'll be here soon." said Margaret as she smiled while a photo was being taken of her.
Ernest Jr gave a slight smile as a picture was also taken of him as well. Then there was one taken of he and Margaret together.
"The media is really packed in here." said Natasha as she sighed and gave a slight smile for a picture.
"Of course they are, that's what we get when grandfather wanted maximum coverage for this event." replied Dom as he sighed and Natasha held his hand as another photographer took a picture of them together.
"You surely love giving the media some eye candy." said Dom as he chuckled and whispered into her ear.
"Well it's what the want and it's best we give it to them instead of them looking for it somewhere else." said Natasha as she whispered back into his ear.
"After all, we are bound to meet other people during this event and we don't want rumours circulating that we are nicer to other people than to each other." she said with a sigh and shook her head as she let go of his hand.
"That is true." he replied.
"Oh we will see you two later, we have to catch up with some of our friends, see you later dears." said Margaret as she smiled and gave both Natasha and Dom a quick kiss on the cheek.
"Enjoy your evening, both of you." said Ernest Jr as he smiled before hooking his arm with his wife as they walked away together.
"Don't you have shareholders, investors and friends to meet as well?" she asked him.
"I do, but I want to see everyone first before I'm drowned with official work." said Dom as he sighed already dreading all the partially fake smiles he would have to show and all the talking he would have to do.
"Sounds like you're already dreading it." said Natasha.
"You don't know how much I am." said Dom as he sighed even more and Natasha chuckled.

"Weeeeee!!!" shouted Lulu as she slid with Joy down a long red slide as the sounds of happy children playing could be heard.
Joy giggled as she and Lulu slide from the slide into a huge ball pit as they both giggled together at their descent.
"That was really fun." said Lulu as she giggled, ignoring the weird looks she was receiving from parents dropping their children off.
"Again, again, again!!" said Joy as she giggled, she was having so much fun, her aunt was the best. At first when Lulu had took her to come see the indoor playground she had never thought that Lulu would play with her on it.
"I would love to go again my darling, but we can't, it's getting late and we need to get going now. But I promise you that you can come back here later once the first formal address is done." said Lulu as she smiled.
"Oh, okay Aunt Lulu, let's go then." said Joy as she smiled and they made their way out of the ball pit.
"You're the best my lovely niece." said Lulu happily.
"No, you're the best aunt ever!" said Joy as she giggled.
"Come on." said Lulu as she carried her out of the ball pit.

"Mommy!!" said Joy as she let go of Lulu's hand and ran to Natasha as soon as she caught sight of her parents.
"Hello darling, are you done playing?" asked Natasha as she picked her up and carried her.
"No, but Aunt Lulu said that we had to be here for the first formal address." said Joy as she giggled when Dom poked her cheek.
"Ahh I see, and where's your aunt Lulu now?" asked Natasha as she looked around unable to see Lulu anywhere.
"She went to go talk to someone." replied Joy.
"Dom, sorry I'm late." said Nine as he finally found Dom and Natasha in the midst of all the crowd.
"It's fine." said Dom as he and Nine shook hands and Nine smiled.
"Natasha, you look great tonight." said Nine as he smiled and he carried Joy.
"Thank you Nine, you look nice as well, of course it would be rare for you to ever wear a bright colour." said Natasha as she laughed and Nine laughed.
"You know me. Hello princess, you look really lovely tonight, I love your dress." said Nine as he smiled and poked Joy's nose and she giggled.
"Thank you uncle Nine, I really love your suit, it's very pretty." said Joy as she smiled.
"So where's your date? Charlie told me that you lied you had one." said Dom as he laughed and Nine frowned as he turned back.
"She's here... I thought that she was following me." said Nine as he sighed, Jennifer must have probably gotten lost in the crowd. He felt guilty for that, he should have accepted when she suggested that they hold hands, back then he did not think that it would be necessary.
"Give me a moment, let me go look for her, I think she got lost in the crowd." he said as he put Joy down and left.
"Do you really think he has a date?" asked Dom as he looked at Natasha and she nodded.
"He is not one to lie, I'm sure he has one." replied Natasha as she chuckled, she was just curious who.
Nine looked through the crowd as he searched for Jennifer, luckily for him, he caught sight of the back of her head as he held her hand and she turned to look at him confused as to who was holding her hand.
"I'm sorry for leaving you behind." he said as the confused look on her face was replaced with a warm smile.
"It's fine, I know you didn't do it on purpose, I just got a little bit lost, I didn't expect there to be so many people." she replied with a smile.
"Same here, I can see that Lulu was not joking when she said that she literally invited everyone in the city." said Nine as he sighed and Jennifer giggled.
"Come on, this time I won't let you get lost." he said as he held her hand tighter and she looked at their intertwined hands as she smiled and nodded.
"I know you won't." she replied as they walked together.
"Sorry for that guys, I'm back, and I found her." said Nine as Natasha laughed in surprise.
"Jennifer, what a surprise, I had no idea that you would be here." said Natasha as she laughed and gave Jennifer a hug as she let go of Nine's hand.
"Oh Natasha, I'm really sorry, I forgot to tell you, it skipped my mind, you look so pretty though." said Jennifer as she laughed.
"I should say the same to you, I love your dress." said Natasha as she broke their hug and laughed.
"Nine, you should have told me who your date was." said Natasha as she looked at Nine who was silent and looked a little bit embarrassed while Jennifer just laughed.
"I have to agree with Natasha on this one Nine, you left us all in the dark." said Dom as he would not like that he was also surprised.
"It is nice to see you here Miss. Honey." said Dom as he smiled and she stretched out her hand to give him a handshake.
"I feel the same Mr. White, but please you can just call me Jennifer, or Jenny." said Jennifer as she smiled.
"Alright Jennifer, so as long as you call me Dom and not Mr. White." said Dom as he laughed.
"Agreed." she replied as she laughed.
"*Gasp* Miss Honey, what are you doing here??" asked Joy in shock as she had just returned from getting a snack from the buffet table.
"Hello Joy, I'm here because your uncle invited me to accompany him to this party right?" asked Jennifer as she smiled and looked at Nine as he nodded.
"Really?" asked Joy in shock her big brown eyes wide as Jennifer nodded and smiled.
"Yayyyy, I am so glad that you are here Miss Honey." said Joy as she smiled and hugged Jennifer as she smiled.
"I am really glad that I'm here as well, you need to help me thank your uncle for inviting me." said Jennifer as she laughed and looked at Nine.
"You don't need to thank me, you're doing me a favour by being here with me." he replied sincerely with a smile as Natasha and Dom shot each other some knowing glances.
