Bab 353: Are you sure?
The next day.
"Clarita, wait here for me, I have to go and talk to Ethan" said Joy as she smiled and she looked at Clarita.
"Okay" said Clarita with a smile as Joy ran across to the other side of the playground, she knew that it would be a few minutes before it would be break over.
"Ethan" called Joy as Ethan was talking to his own friends, he turned around and sighed when he saw Joy running towards him.
"Don't fall down running like that dummy" said Ethan as he walked away from his friends to meet Joy.
"Ethan, you said you would tell me step 2 today, or did you forget?" asked Joy as Ethan wondered how a little girl like her could remember things so vividly, of course he didn't forget, he just didn't feel like telling her a plan.
"No I didn't forget" said Ethan.
"Well I couldn't find you" said Joy.
"Don't you forget things dummy?" asked Ethan as Joy shook her head.
"I don't forget important things, so what is step 2 Ethan?" asked Joy as she wanted to get straight to the point, they didn't have much time left.
"Alright, step 2, if kissing didn't work, then you have to make them spend more time together forcefully" said Ethan.
"But how do I do that?" asked Joy.
"Didn't you hear the word forcefully there?" asked Ethan.
"It means you have to force them together" said Ethan.
"But they don't like spending time together, how do I make them do that?" asked Joy.
"That's up to you dummy, I don't know, make them, pretend to be hurt or something" said Ethan.
"But that would be lying Ethan, and lying is bad" said Joy as Ethan didn't want to get stuck in a pickle here.
"Yes, you are right, lying is wrong, so either you find some other way, or you get hurt" said Ethan.
"And I don't think you would want to get yourself hurt" said Ethan.
"Hmm, okay Ethan" said Joy.
"Joy are you done yet?" asked Clarita as she ran to Joy.
"Well almost Clarita, Ethan told me what to do" said Joy as she looked at Clarita.
"Oh hello Ethan" said Clarita as she smiled and she waved at Ethan.
"Clarita" said Ethan as he did not want pre-schoolers to be following him everywhere.
"I am out of here" said Ethan as he turned around and he walked away.
"What did Ethan say?" asked Clarita as she looked at Joy.
"He said that I have to make my parents spend more time together" said Joy.
"Do you know how to do that?" asked Clarita as Joy shook her head and the bell rang.
"Let's go back to class now Clarita" said Joy as she smiled.
"Okay" said Clarita with a smile as she and Joy walked towards their group to line up.

Nine was typing something on his laptop when he heard his phone ring, he stopped typing and picked up his phone from the desk as he saw who was calling as he scoffed, but he answered the call anyway.
"Oh finally you pick up, hi Nine, how are you?" asked Lia with a smile as she was driving and her phone was stuck on her dashboard.
"Why are you calling me Lia?" asked Nine as he resumed typing.
"Oh looks like someone is in a bad mood, I call you to check on you of course silly" said Lia as she laughed, it was obvious that Nine was in a bad mood, he never spoke to her like that.
"Are you sure about that?" asked Nine.
"Nine, don't be like this, I guess you are either tired or busy, this isn't like you" said Lia as she smiled.
"And since when do you know me?" asked Nine.
"Xavier, what's up? Why are you being so cold to me all of a sudden? I just wanted to check up on you, don't treat me like this" said Lia with a frown.
"Lia, you should know that you and I are still not on good terms, not after what you did, so you can't just come and act like you know nothing" said Nine.
"I said I was sorry about that" said Lia.
"Are you really sorry?" asked Nine.
"I am" said Lia.
"I don't believe you Lia, I don't believe you" said Nine.
"Don't be like this Xavier, I would expect this from Michael, or even Charlie, not you, I thought you always have my back" said Lia.
"Not when you do things wrong" said Nine.
"Can we just forget that and move on, I really am sorry" said Lia as Nine sighed.
"Fine Lia, fine" said Nine.
"Yayy, so how are you?" asked Lia as she laughed.
"Fine" replied Nine.
"I am good too, what are you doing?" asked Lia.
"Working" replied Nine, with his one word replies, it was clear that he was still slightly upset with her.
"I wanted to come over to the office, so you, Dom and I could have lunch together" said Lia with a smile.
"Of course" said Nine to himself as he scoffed, this was Lia's true intention, it always was Dom, always.
"No" replied Nine.
"And why not?" asked Lia.
"Lia, there is literally a battle going on here between us and the shareholders who want to steal everything, so Dom surely does not have any time to go out with you" said Nine as he was trying to hard to hide his anger.
"Alright, but I have some files and quotations to drop off" said Lia.
"Email them, you don't have to come all the way here" said Nine.
"You… you just want me to stay away" said Lia.
"Yes Lia, stay away, when will you change? When will you realize that not everything is about you? When will you realize that you hurt everyone else's feelings just because of yours?" asked Nine.
"Where is all this coming from Nine?" asked Lia.
"You know, Lia, you know" said Nine.
"No I don't, you just change so drastically, one moment you are the sweet nine, and the next you are like this" said Lia.
"You hurt people Lia, that's why, and most especially you… you hurt me" said Nine.
"But I said I was sorry about that" said Lia.
"It's not only that Lia, it's a lot of things, you know what, I can't do this, not right now, I'm sorry Lia" said Nine as he ended the call, he could never control his feelings when it came to Lia, she could ruin him, and she had ruined, him, he had been in love with her for the longest time and yet, she never noticed, she had her eyes fixed on one man alone.
"*Ugh*, what is wrong with you Nine? You make no sense to me, I don't get you!" said Lia as she groaned, she was sure that someone put him in a bad mood and she just happened to be at the receiving end.
"He will calm down, he will" said Lia to herself as she looked in her rear view mirror and she saw a black car driving way too close to her car, she did not think much of it, but that was until her car was jerked forward by the car behind her hitting her from behind.
"Hey!" said Lia as she beeped her horn and the black car hit her car again but this time more violently.
"What is your deal?" asked Lia as she looked at her rear view mirror and she saw a man's hand come out of the car window with a gun as he shot into the air as Lia felt her heart drop, she was being followed.
"Oh my, oh my, oh my" said Lia as she accelerated more and the car followed after her she quickly got her phone while watching the car who hit her once again.
Lia quickly dialed the police, there were no other cars in sight, and she was far away from civilisation.
"Yes hello, there is a strange black car following me, the car is hitting my car, and the men in the car are armed" said Lia in a shaky tone.
"Alright ma'am, calm down, where are you?" came the woman's voice from the other side of the line.
"I don't know where I am exactly, I'm on route 406" said Lia.
"Alright ma'am, remain calm, keep on driving, some officers will be sent there soon" said the woman.
"Alright" said Lia as she ended the call and she looked behind as she heard another gunshot that startled her and her hands were sweaty on the steering wheel as her car swerved off the lane and she quickly got herself together and moved back on the lane as she dialed another number as her phone rang.
"Come on Nine, come on, I need you, pick up" said Lia as she waited for Nine to answer her.
