"My darling, it's not nice to just ask questions like that" said Natasha.
"I'm sorry mommy, I'm sorry uncle Romanoff" said Joy as she looked at Natasha and then at Romanoff.
"No Joy, it is fine, Natasha it is fine, the rebenok (child) can ask her questions" said Romanoff as he smiled.
"I actually got this eyepatch on my eye because I am a pirate, and I lost my eye on my many, many adventures" said Romanoff as he smiled.
"*Gasp*, you were?" asked Joy in surprise as Natasha laughed.
"Yes rebenok (child), I was" said Romanoff as he laughed.
"That's so cool uncle Romanoff" said Joy as she laughed.
"Yes rebenok (child)" said Romanoff as he smiled.
"You should call me dyadya (uncle), Joy" said Romanoff as he smiled.
"Dyadya (uncle), what does that mean?" asked Joy in confusion.
"Dyadya (uncle), means uncle in Russian Joy" said Romanoff as he smiled.
"Oh so you are dyadya Romanoff?" asked Joy as she smiled.
"Exactly like that Joy" said Romanoff with a proud smile as Joy giggled.
"You really should teach Joy another language Natasha, it will be good for her to be bilingual" said Romanoff as he looked at Natasha.
"Thank you for your advice Uncle, I will let the school system take it's course" said Natasha.
"Don't say that Natasha, they teach Spanish, what a language, why don't you teach her Russian?" asked Romanoff as he smiled.
"I think it's too much of a complicated language for her, a child, don't you think so?" asked Natasha as she looked at Romanoff, she was indirectly saying that she did not want Joy to be involved in what she was involved in right now.
"Nothing is ever too complicated for a child Natasha" said Romanoff as he smiled.
"Yes Mommy, I want to learn Russian, it sounds cool" said Joy as she looked at Natasha.
"You see Natasha, don't deprive the girl of the chance to learn her language, she will always have Russian roots, no matter what" said Romanoff as he smiled.
"I will think about it, I just can't make decisions just like that, I will have to ask her father first, and I doubt he would agree" said Natasha.
"I see, but anyway Joy, I have a present for you, here" said Romanoff as he smiled and he brought out a little yellow yoyo.
"It's a yoyo" said Romanoff as he smiled and he handed the Yoyo to Joy who looked at Natasha, as if asking for permission with her big brown eyes.
"It's fine darling, you can take it" said Natasha as she smiled and Joy took the yoyo from him.
"Thank you dyadya (uncle) Romanoff" said Joy as she smiled.
"You are welcome Joy" said Romanoff as he smiled and he saw the annoyance on Natasha's face.
"Well Joy, I have to go now, it was very nice meeting you" said Romanoff as he smiled.
"It was nice meeting you too dyadya (uncle) Romanoff, thank you for the yoyo" said Joy as she giggled and Natasha put her down.
"Go keep your toys in your room" said Natasha as she smiled.
"Okay mommy, Bye dyadya (uncle) Romanoff" said Joy as she smiled and Romanoff smiled as he waved at her.
"Bye Joy" replied Romanoff as Joy ran up the stairs.
"Outside, now!" said Natasha in a quiet tone but it was obvious to see that she was angry. Romanoff just followed her outside.
"Didn't I tell you that I did not want you coming to my house at all?" asked Natasha.
"Relax devochka (girl), I just wanted to say hi" said Romanoff as he smiled.
"I wonder who let you in, because I am going to complain and have them fired" said Natasha.
"Relax Natasha, this is the last time I come uninvited, I just wanted to meet Joy, she is a delightful young girl, you raise her well" said Romanoff as he smiled.
"Thank you for the compliment but I'm not having it, let this be the last time Romanoff, and don't you dare try anything funny" said Natasha.
"Got it devochka (girl)" said Romanoff.
"I will see you later, enjoy your day" said Romanoff as he smiled and he walked away as Natasha scoffed and she walked back into her house and she closed the door, she could not believe this, Romanoff was just too much.
"Alright Natasha, take a deep breath" said Natasha as she sighed, unfortunately, she believed that Romanoff was genuine, it did look like he wanted to meet Joy and nothing more.
Natasha decided to let this slide this once, she did not want Dom knowing that Romanoff was here, but she saw no need to tell Joy not to mention this to him, she doubted that she would, she did not want her baby lying for no reason.
Natasha walked up the stairs to Joy's room as she saw Joy playing with her new yoyo.
"My darling, go look for Alfred for me, I need him to do something, he should be in the garden" said Natasha as she smiled.
"Okay Mommy" said Joy with a smile as she put her yoyo on her bed and she ran out the door as Natasha walked to pick the yoyo.
She looked at it, it looked like any regular yoyo, but she knew not to be easily fooled, so she shook it and there was no sound at all, It sounded like a regular yoyo.
Since it was a gift Natasha did not want to tear it open to check if it had some sort of camera in it.
"Maybe for once I should trust you Romanoff" said Natasha to herself as she sighed and she put the yoyo in Joy's toy box and she walked out of Joy's room and she closed the door.
…
"Let's tuck you in princess" said Dom as he smiled and Joy was jumping on her bed as she giggled as Dom carried her and tucked her in.
"But I'm not tired daddy" said Joy as she giggled.
"Right princess, but I told you a story already" said Dom as he smiled.
"But I'm not tired" said Joy.
"Alright, so why don't you tell me about your day?" asked Dom as he smiled.
"Oh well school was fun, and then uncle nine came to pick me up from school, and then I called Ethan on the telephone" said Joy as she giggled.
"What do you talk to Ethan about princess?" asked Dom as he smiled.
"Well he's helping me with steps to make you and mommy ge…" said Joy as she yawned and her words came out muffled.
"Oh and also mommy's uncle came to visit us" said Joy.
"Mommy's uncle?" asked Dom in nothing but confusion.
"Yes Mommy's uncle, uncle Romanoff, he came to visit us, dyadya (uncle) Romanoff, dyadya is uncle in Russian daddy" said Joy as she smiled.
"Wait a minute princess, your mommy's uncle?" asked Dom as he didn't get it.
"Yes daddy, he has a black eyepatch on his left eye, and he was very tall, and he looked old, he bought me a yellow yoyo as a gift" said Joy as she yawned.
Dom was seriously confused, but judging by the description Joy gave him, he was sure he knew who it was.
"Listen princess, your mommy's uncle, what did he want?" asked Dom.
"To see me and mommy" said Joy as Natasha walked into the room and Dom looked at her.
"Mommy, come here, come and stay with me" said Joy as she giggled and Natasha laughed as she climbed into bed with Joy and she hugged her.
Dom knew that he could not tell Natasha what he knew, he did not want to start an argument right now.
"Well princess, it's late now, go to bed, goodnight have sweet dreams" said Dom as he smiled and he gave her a kiss on the forehead as she giggled.
"Daddy, won't you give mommy a goodnight kiss too?" asked Joy as Natasha and Dom looked at each other.
"My goodnight kisses are saved for you my princess, so goodnight" said Dom as he smiled and Joy frowned for a moment.
"Goodnight Natasha" said Dom as he smiled.
"Goodnight" replied Natasha as Dom walked out of the room.
"What were you and your daddy talking about?" asked Natasha as Joy hugged her.
"About my day mommy" said Joy as she yawned and she closed her eyes.
"Mommy, I like uncle Romanoff, maybe daddy can meet him too" said Joy as she hugged Natasha and Natasha hugged her.
"Maybe my darling, but your daddy Is always busy, I don't think he will have time, and uncle Romanoff is busy too" said Natasha as Joy was already fast asleep, and she smiled as she looked at her angel.
She was just so very innocent in the midst of everything that was going on, in the end, all Natasha wanted to do was to protect her precious, darling daughter.
