"Alright everyone now that I know all your names, we can continue with what we are going to do this morning" said Jennifer as she smiled.
"And I will say once again that I am sure we will all get along very well together" said Jennifer as she smiled.
"Yes Miss Honey" said the children as they nodded their head.
"Alright, so before we get into writing and reading, let's talk a bit" said Jennifer as she smiled and she sat down at her desk.
"So who wants to go first and tell me how their Christmas and New Year's went?" asked Jennifer as she smiled and Clarita quickly raised her hand.
"Clarita" said Jennifer as she smiled.
"Miss Honey, I went to my Grandparents house for Christmas, and I drank lots of hot chocolate and presents, and then on New Year's I fell asleep because I wasn't allowed to stay up" said Clarita as she smiled.
"It sounds like you had a wonderful time Clarita" said Jennifer as she smiled and Clarita nodded her head with a smile.
"Who would like to go next?" asked Jennifer as this time all the other children raised their hands.
"Leon, you can go next" said Jennifer as she smiled.
"Well on Christmas my parents bought me a new toy car, which I have to share with Prince, and on New Years we saw the fireworks" said Leon.
"That's nice Leon" said Jennifer as she smiled.
"Yes Prince, you can go ahead" said Jennifer as she smiled.
"Just to clear things up, the car is mine, and I am sharing it with Leon" said Prince as Leon shook his head and he frowned.
"And yes, we did see the fireworks" said Prince.
"What colour were the fireworks?" asked Jennifer as she smiled.
"Oh there was red, and yellow and orange, and some green as well" said Prince as he smiled and Jennifer smiled at him.
"I also love fireworks, but didn't the sound scare you? Fireworks are very loud when they go off" said Jennifer.
"No I wasn't scared at all" said Prince confidently as Jennifer laughed.
"And what about you Joy?" asked Jennifer as she looked at Joy.
"Well my mommy was not with me and my daddy on Christmas so we did not go to my Grandpappy's house" said Joy.
"Your Grandpappy?" asked Jennifer in confusion.
"Yes my Grandpappy is the Grandpa of my daddy" said Joy.
"Oh I see, so he's your great grandpa" said Jennifer as Joy nodded.
"Yes, so my daddy and my uncles and my Aunt Lulu all came together during Christmas, and then I called my mommy, and I got lots of presents" said Joy.
"And then on New Year I was very tired, so I went to bed early, but my daddy got me some chocolate the next day" said Joy as she smiled.
"That sounds nice Joy" said Jennifer as she smiled and one of the other children raised their hands.
"Yes, go on" said Jennifer with a smile.

"Alright now, who can recite the ABC's for me?" asked Jennifer as all the hands of the children shot up.
"All of you?" asked Jennifer as they all nodded.
"Alright, how about you all recite it together at the count of three, 1, 2, 3" said Jennifer.
"A, B, C, D, E, F, G, H, ,I ,J ,K ,L ,M ,N ,O ,P ,Q ,R ,S ,T ,U ,V ,W ,X ,Y ,Z" said all the children together.
"Clap for yourselves, you all did great" said Jennifer as she smiled and she clapped as the children did the same and they all gigged.
"Okay now, who knows how to recite their numbers?" asked Jennifer as all of them raised their hands again, so this time she decided to make it a bit more difficult.
"And I don't mean from 1-10, I mean from 1-20" said Jennifer as she smiled, she believed that when children were this age, it was very easy for them to memorize things, and she wanted to test that right now.
"Miss Honey" called Clarita as she raised her hand.
"Yes Joy?" asked Jennifer.
"I can recite my numbers from 1-100" said Clarita.
"You can?" asked Jennifer in surprise as Clarita nodded.
"Okay then show me" said Jennifer as Clarita started to recite her numbers from 1 to the end.
"95, 96, 97, 98, 99, 100" said Clarita as she finally finished and Jennifer was surprised to say the least.
"Clarita did a good job, everyone clap for her" said Jennifer as all the children clapped and Clarita smiled.
"Who taught you how to do that Clarita?" asked Jennifer as she smiled.
"Well Miss Lolly used to count all the way till 100 when she taught us numbers" said Clarita.
"It's nice that you know all your numbers from 1-100" said Jennifer as she smiled and one of the children raised his hand.
"Yes" said Jennifer as she smiled.
"Miss Honey, why do you tell us to clap for others?" asked the boy.
"Well when I ask you to clap for others, it is because the person did a good job of memorizing or speaking" said Jennifer.
"But isn't it unfair to clap for others and not yourself?" asked the boy.
"Well no, what is unfair Is not clapping for someone when they do something good" said Jennifer.
"You shouldn't feel lower and jealous when we clap for others, instead, you should feel happy for the person, and tell yourself that you will do better next time, so you will be clapped for, because if you are jealous, it is not fair to yourself or the other person" said Jennifer.
"Does anyone know what jealousy means?" asked Jennifer as Leon raised his hand.
"Leon" said Jennifer.
"Jealousy is when you don't like someone because they are better than you" said Leon.
"Yes Leon, exactly like that, and being jealous is not good at all, it will only make you focus on hating your classmate instead of trying to learn better" said Jennifer as Clarita raised her hand and Jennifer nodded.
"But Miss Honey, is it possible not to ever get jealous, because I get jealous when my mommy doesn't pay attention to me" said Clarita as Jennifer laughed.
"Well no Clarita, we are all only human, so of course we get jealous sometimes, and that's okay, we just should remain jealous forever" said Jennifer.
"Anytime that you feel jealous for whatever reason, whether at home or here at school, you can talk to me or your parents, or someone you trust, because it is always best to talk about your feelings, so you can feel better and know exactly what to do okay?" asked Jennifer as she smiled.
"Yes Miss Honey" said all the children as in the same moment, the bell rang.
"Alright well it's breaktime now" said Jennifer as she smiled and Joy raised her hand.
"Yes Joy" said Jennifer.
"But Miss Honey, we did not write today" said Joy.
"Oh that's not a problem Joy, we can always write tomorrow, today is basically a free day, on the first day of school, we don't really do anything, but tomorrow, we will write okay?" asked Jennifer as she smiled.
"Okay Miss Honey" said Joy as she smiled and she nodded her head.
"Alright now, everyone line up and go and wash your hands" said Jennifer.
"Yes Miss Honey" said the children as they nodded and they lined up.

"I have a turkey sandwich for lunch" said Clarita as she ate happily.
"Lucky, I only have a plain cheese sandwich" said Prince as Leon did not complain at all.
"What about you Joy?" asked Prince as he looked at Joy.
"Well I had a chicken sandwich, and oh my mommy packed me some of the chocolate cupcakes that my grandma made" said Joy as she smiled happily.
"Lucky you Joy" said Prince as Joy giggled.
"But first, I have to make sure to drink lots of water, my mommy wants my water bottle to be empty" said Joy as she took her purple water bottle and she started to drink the water by force as Clarita and the others looked worried.
"Joy are you alright?" asked Jennifer as she walked to Joy and Joy nodded while still drinking her water.
"Then why are you drinking so much water like that? You might choke" said Jennifer as Joy stopped.
"My mommy said that I have to drink lots of water, and she doesn't want to see any water in my bottle when I get home" said Joy as she explained.
"Ahh I see, but just because your mommy said that does not mean that you have to drink all your water in one go, it will make you feel full, why don't you drink it later" said Jennifer as Joy nodded.
"Okay Miss Honey" said Joy as she smiled and Jennifer smiled at her.
"Alright children, don't waste all your time eating, we have 15 minutes to go outside and play before we come back inside" said Jennifer as the children nodded.
"Miss Honey can I be the one to clean this table?" asked Clarita as she smiled and she raised her hand.
"Sure Clarita but finish eating first" said Jennifer as Prince quickly packed his lunchbox and put it in his bag.
"I am going to be the first one on the swing" said Prince.
"Not if I get there first" said Leon as he quickly packed his own lunchbox.
"Boys, no running in the classroom" said Jennifer.
"Yes Miss Honey" said Leon and Prince as they calmly walked out of the classroom and Jennifer shook her head as she smiled.

"Alright, it's time to go home now, so everyone line up, and take your bags so we can go and wait outside for your parents" said Jennifer as all the children nodded and they did as they were told as they all lined up orderly.

"Mommy!!" called Joy as she saw Natasha walking towards and her and Natasha smiled.
"Hello my baby" said Natasha as she carried her.
"You must be Mrs. White, it is nice to meet you, I am Miss Jennifer Honey, Joy's new teacher this year" said Jennifer as she smiled.
"Yes, I am, and it is nice to meet you too Miss Honey" said Natasha as she smiled.
"if you don't mind me asking, how was Joy today?" asked Natasha as she smiled.
"She is very delightful" said Jennifer as she smiled.
"I am glad to know that" said Natasha as she smiled.
"Bye Miss Honey" said Joy as she waved at Jennifer.
"Bye Joy and see you tomorrow" said Jennifer as she waved at her and Natasha smiled as she walked to the parking lot where Dom was talking on his phone, but he ended the call when he saw Joy and Natasha.
"Daddy, you and mommy came to pick me up together" said Joy as she smiled.
"Yes we did princess" said Dom as he smiled.
"But it won't always be like this, tomorrow I am going to pick you up my baby, okay?" asked Natasha as she smiled.
"Okay" said Joy as she giggled and Natasha opened the car door as she put Joy In her car seat and she sat beside her.
"So how was your day at school princess?" asked Dom as he smiled and looked at Joy.
"Very good Daddy, lots of things happened" said Joy as Dom started the car and they drove away.
