Bab 55: Hard to believe
"Alfred" called Natasha as she caught sight of Alfred passing by as she was on her way to the office.
"Ahh Good Morning Madam" said Alfred as he turned around to face Natasha with a smile.
"Mhmm Morning" said Natasha as today was not a good morning, she had an unexpected guest today.
"You were the one that told Grandfather, weren't you??" asked Natasha as she looked at Alfred suspiciously.
She knew that he was the only one that could do that, after all he was loyal to him alone, and Natasha knew that Dom would never call his Grandfather no matter how bad things got, and well Nine, Lia, Charlie and Michael, kept to themselves as they did not want to get into trouble with Grandfather, so it was only Alfred.
"Umm... Yes Madam it was me" said Alfred as he looked guilty and Natasha sighed.
"Madam please forgive me if I caused you any inconvenience by calling him" said Alfred as he apologized.
"Well you did Alfred, yes you did" said Natasha as she sighed.
"I am sorry Madam, you know that he always insists on me informing him of every single thing going on in the house" said Alfred.
"The Master is like that, and if I do not inform him, he might use other means" said Alfred.
"I know that Alfred... and I do not blame you" said Natasha as she looked at Alfred, it was not entirely his fault, she of all people knew just how demanding that Grandfather of theirs could be, he was a very hard man to deal with.
And she had no right to be angry at Alfred, after all he was just doing his job, it was Grandfather that had hired him and not her, so Alfred was under him, besides Alfred had served their family for many years.
"I truly do not blame you at all Alfred" said Natasha.
"Just please next time, notify me when he is coming" she said.
"Because today I was caught off guard" said Natasha as her mind went back to the sad look she had seen on Grandfather's face, she was never the one to make him sad, she always made him smile, but today she had done the opposite.
But it had to be done, for her own well-being, she was not going to allow herself be controlled by nothing and no one, she was going to be her own person this time.
"I understand Madam, he also caught me off guard too" said Alfred as he laughed, he had worked with Ernest White since he was a young man, and still till this day that man never ceased to amaze him, and surprise him.
"You know how he is" said Natasha as she laughed.
"But, noted Madam, I will make sure to inform you next time I know he will come and visit" said Alfred as he was truly sorry.
"Thank you Alfred" said Natasha as she smiled and Alfred smiled too.
"Well I am going to wake up Joy now, I will see you Alfred" said Natasha.
"Alright Madam" said Alfred as he smiled and Natasha walked away.
Alfred sighed, judging from the way the Madam looked, and also from the way the Master just left without even staying for breakfast meant that they had a fight, because when the Master came to visit he would usually stay the entire day and play with Joy, or he and the Madam would talk all day, but today was... different.

"Wake up my baby" said Natasha as she poked Joy's nose as she knelt down beside Joy's bed.
"My baby, it's morning wake up" said Natasha as she laughed at the sleeping face of her baby, Joy looked so cute.
It was her fault that Joy was so tired, she had been letting her skip her afternoon naps lately, and yesterday they went to the park, and it was now 10am and Joy was not yet awake, so Natasha had decided to wake her up.
"My baby" said Natasha as she caressed Joy's hair, she knew that Joy did not like it when she did that, as it tickled.
"Mommy" said Joy in her sleepy voice as she turned on her bed.
"Yes my baby, it's me wake up, it's morning" said Natasha as she laughed.
"Can I sleep more mommy??" asked Joy as her voice was muffled.
"No my baby, you cannot sleep more" said Natasha as she laughed, even while still half sleepy, her baby was still as sharp as ever.
"You need to wake up, so we can eat breakfast" said Natasha as she smiled and touched Joy's hair.
"You can have your afternoon nap later" she said.
"Mhmmm" said Joy as she was still sleepy.
"Alright then my baby" said Natasha.
"If you don't want to wake up" she said.
"I will just give you kisses until you do" said Natasha as she laughed and she leaned in and started to give Joy kisses.
"*Mwah* *Mwah*" as she kissed Joy.
And in no time Joy began to giggle and Natasha laughed.
"Are you awake now??" asked Natasha as she laughed.
"Yes Mommy" said Joy as she laughed, she was wide awake now.
"Good my baby" said Natasha as she smiled.
"Now go brush your teeth so we can go eat" said Natasha as she laughed.
"Okay Mommy" said Joy as she climbed out of bed and she stood up on her bed and she gave her mommy a kiss on the cheek in return, and she climbed back down and she placed her feet on the ground and she walked to her bathroom.
Natasha smiled as she turned to look at where her baby was, her baby really was something else.
"Are you done brushing your teeth??" asked Natasha as she smiled and she looked at Joy when she saw her come out of the bathroom.
"Mhmm yes mommy" said Joy as she nodded her head.
"Alright then, let's go my baby" said Natasha as she laughed and she carried Joy.
...
"Oh Natasha, you will not believe the new clothes I bought, they are designer makes and everything" said Lia as she had about twenty shopping bags and she had laid them all on the bed in Natasha's bed room as she unloaded them one by one.
"Lia...I..." said Natasha as she was utterly speechless, she knew that Lia loved shopping, but this was just too overboard.
"You love them!!!Yes I know!!!" said Lia as she was very excited.
It was past lunch time and Lia had decided to come and visit Natasha, to which Natasha had agreed, but Joy did not want to be around her Aunt, so she asked for permission to go play with her toys and Natasha agreed.
Lia and Natasha were currently in Natasha's room as Lia was unloading her tons of clothes on Natasha's bed.
"You see this one over here, it was about 100 dollars, but look at the beads and everything" said Lia as she showed Natasha a purple dress arrayed with white beads.
"It does look pretty Lia, but I do not think that you would ever have a chance to wear it" said Natasha, in fact she was sure Lia would rarely wear all these new clothes she had went to buy herself.
"Oh hush Natasha, of course I will" said Lia as she smiled.
"Okay, but the fact that you drove straight here to come and show me all these clothes you bought, really scares me" said Natasha.
"Oh but Natasha, it was no bother at all, I only drove straight here from the mall" said Lia.
"*Sigh*" said Natasha as she sighed, she and her friend were total opposites.
"But you know what Natasha, I find it hard to believe that you actually moved out of Dom's room" said Lia as she showed Natasha a pink blouse she bought.
"There is nothing hard to believe there, I just moved out" said Natasha as she looked at her now messy bed filled with clothes.
"I know but..." said Lia.
"It is still shocking" said Lia.
"I mean, you used to adore Dom, and now..." said Lia.
"Yes Lia, that is the key word here... used" said Natasha as she picked up a blue sequin blouse from her bed.
"I know, but it must not be true" said Lia.
"People just don't fall out of love just like that" said Lia as she looked at Natasha.
"Oh they do Lia, believe me they do, it just takes a big push that makes you realize that it's really not worth it" said Natasha as she folded the blue sequin blouse.
"Mhmmm" said Lia as she could not believe that, it was impossible to fall out of love, if you truly loved the person as you claimed, you would fight for them with everything, nothing would be out of bounds.
"So what do you feel for Dom right now??" asked Lia carefully.
"Anything, anything else but love" said Natasha as she sighed.
"So you would not care if he found someone else??" asked Lia.
"No... No I would not, after all it's his life and decision, besides if he really did do that, then he would have Grandfather to contend with" said Natasha seriously.
"I see" said Lia as she seemed to be thinking.
"Are you going to stay for dinner??" asked Natasha as she snapped Lia out of her thoughts.
"Ahh No, I have an appointment today with some clients" said Lia quickly.
"Oh well alright then" said Natasha as she folded the clothes on her bed.
"Yes..." said Lia as she seemed to be thinking, while Natasha just thought that it was Lia just being Lia.
