Bab 112: Welcome Home

"Do you want me to walk you there?" 

Iris did not move, just staring at the wrought iron fence of the mansion. It was the first that she looked at the gate and found it imposing, mysterious even, with those vines crawling over the fence and the wall of the mansion like they were going to eat the iron gate of the mansion that by some weird circumstances, now she owns. 

She exhaled a deep breath and glanced at Mariano, silently watching her, waiting for her to decide. 

They had met with Calixto but he didn't say anything. He simply met them and they all sat in a small diner along the highway, huddled at a table like some strange group of people meeting for some dubious business, at an odd hour of the morning.
