Bab 65: So Impatient

Lu Suo shook his head. 

"I need to do my homework."

"Don't be shy. I'll bring you there when you have time," said Lu Jie.

Lu Suo replied in a distressed tone, "I have no free time at all. There's so much homework. Being an adult is so nice. You guys have no homework."

Lu Jie smiled and said, "I'll find a teacher who will give you less homework. How about that?"

"No."

Lu Suo lowered his head and looked at his feet. 

"If I don't do homework, I won't be considered an obedient child."

Lu Jie felt that Lu Suo was really just a kid. 

"I understand. Regardless, if you ever want to go out and play, just call me. I'll take you wherever you want."

Lu Suo nodded. 

"Okay."

Lu Jie touched his little face and said regretfully, "I wish you were my son. That way, I can bring you out and have fun at any time. After all, Lu Gan... He's unable to do much now…"
