Bab 9: Chapter 8 - Paige Krasikeva ( 2 )
After the awkward talk with Mr. Rouk, the students began to introduce themselves one after another.
After they finished introducing themselves, they got a free time for the rest of the class.
Then after an hour, the class ended as the bell rang.
All of the students hurriedly came out of the room until only Drake and Mr. Rouk remained behind.
Even Paige left as soon as she can, as if trying to avoid Drake.
Right now, Mr. Rouk is staring at Drake intensely as a deafening silence sounded around them.
"Sir.. can I go now?"
Drake asked after 10 minutes of silence had passed.
Mr. Rouk sigh and then walked closer to Drake and then asked.
"Mr. Hale, tell me the truth. How did you avoid the car earlier, huh?"
Hearing the question, Drake's face almost frowned, thankfully he prevented it and forced a smile as he said.
"What do you mean how, sir? It's a basic science, it's thanks to the thing called adrenaline.
Want me to explain more?"
Drake finished speaking with a smug smile, making the teacher frown.
*Thud!*
"Tell me the truth! How?!"
Mr. Rouk suddenly slammed Drake's desk and yelled, ignoring Drake's sarcastic words.
"You wanna know something? Then let me tell you, you are wierd and in need of help."
Drake said before he stood up and left the teacher alone.
"What's your secret, Drake Hale?!"
Mr. Rouk shouted out of frustration as soon as Drake left.

When the bell rang, Paige hurriedly left as quickly as she can and went to the cafeteria.
She bought some food and decided to eat inside a room full of music instruments, or more known as the music clubroom.
Although the clubroom is open, the club itself have yet to open, that's why there's no other student in the room.
Paige finished eating and started to look around the room.
The room itself is spacious enough to fit at least 30 people inside even with all the music instruments.
Many music instruments were displayed on the shelf as well as on the side of the room.
There's a piano, guitar, drums, and many more, from the big ones to the small ones.
Then as Paige continue to look around, she saw a violin case on the side of one the shelves.
She picked it up and when she opened it then inside it, she saw a brown violin with it's bow on the side.
She traces her fingers on the strings of the violin before she brought it out of it's box and put on her shoulder.
She then picked up the stick, and started to play the violin.
Ever since last year, Paige started attending a violin lessons and so she can play it, although amateurish.
However although amateurish, the music is still nice to listen to.
Even though the music that Paige is playing is slow and a sad one.
She had her eyes close as she started to move her head along with the music, to feeling the melody better.
The music echoed inside the whole room and it also reached the ears of a certain young man, at the hallway.
"Who's playing this?"
He asked himself and went to find the source of the music.

When Drake get out of the classroom, he walked a little bit faster than normal but he didn't run, because he would be feel like a coward if he did so.
"What's wrong with that teacher? He's weird, super weird.
And he's going to be our homeroom teacher for the whole school year?
This might be the worst year ever."
Drake grumbles to himself as he walks to the hallway, however he stopped walking as soon as he heard a sad melody of a violin.
He got curious about who's playing it and so he went to find the source of such sad music.
Drake soon arrived in front of the clubroom of his club, he opened the door and went inside.
The person who's playing the violin was so focused on playing it that she didn't notice his presence at all.
Although the way she's playing with the violin is amateurish, it doesn't change the fact that the music that she's playing is nicely delivered.
After a while she finished the music and put down the violin, and then she released a deep breath that she's been holding back inside her.
A few seconds later, a clapping hands echoed inside the room which startled her.
And when she turned around and see who it is, her eyes showed shocked inside it.
The person is the one she's trying to avoid out of embarrassment, Drake Hale.
"How long have you been here?"
She asked Drake in a shaky voice after recovering from the shock, while feeling embarrassed once again.
"Long enough to know you're good at violin."
Drake said while walking towards the piano, on the side of the room.
"And so, it's my turn to show you what I'm good at."
Drake added, as he opened the lid of the piano and sat down on a chair.
"You really think so?"
Paige asked Drake when she heard him call her good, and Drake nodded as an answer and said.
"Trust me, I have an amazing ears."
"Sure, let's just say I believe you."
Paige answered sarcastically at Drake's words.
"So do you want to watch?"
Drake asked once again, after preparing himself.
"Hmm~ Alright let's see what you got."
Paige went to take a chair and sat on it before Drake started to play.
Drake decided to match the sad music that she played and soon enough, Paige entered a daze state because of it.
'Beautiful.'
She taught to herself as the sunlight hit the face of the young man in front of her while playing a melody that matched the one she played.
