After dropping off the goods at Linda's home, Ji-ho rushed back to the well carrying two more baskets refilled with fish and forest produce. She had sold about half of the amount that had been sitting in her inventory. And by the time she'd arrived, other women had heard the news about Arabella's cheap food items. There was a crowd of village women at the well, waiting for her to return.
"There she is!"
Ji-ho was suddenly swarmed by women of all ages. She protected her baskets while filling her coffers with coins. At the end of the feverish exchange, she had amassed thirty-five silver and twenty copper's worth of coins. Fearing for safety, Ji-ho made herself scarce and transferred the coins into Jini's storage.
Phew! It worked, Jini!
It worked! So are you going to catch more fish?
