Chapter 8: The disaster
< following the events of the last chapter >
[Eichi]
"Hurry up will you! We can't let Tobirama-sensei die!" I was starting to feel anxious. We had to make it in time.
Would we even be able to change anything? What if one of us died instead? I would never be able to forgive myself for that, it was my decision to go fight the Gold and Silver Brothers, it was my responsability to make sure nothing goes wrong.
The burden was suffocating.
But before I could fall deeper into my growing depression a warm hand touched my shoulder taking me back into the light.
"Don't worry to much Eichi! So what if they have sacred treasures or Kuramas chakra?
What are sacred treasures compared to your zanpakuto? What is Kurama compared to our majestic blue dragon? Besides I can just spam all of Hashirama-sensei and Tobirama-senseis jutsus at them, I'm sure some of them will hit the target. Hahahaha" the ever so cheerful Mikoto proudly proclaimed.
*sigh* What a waste of an ability... At least try to use your ability sparringly...
But he's right. We have nothing to fear, we are the special ones. Possessing powers that others could only dream about.
Strange... my fears have completly vanished, I'm ready to fight and we'll win no matter what.
For a single second a blue light was seen in my eyes, if I had seen it then I would have surely known what it meant. Zangetsu was listening, my instincts were awakening and soon Zangetsu too would wake up from its deep slumber.

[Mikotos P.O.V.]
It took us longer than expected, we weren't familiar with the place so it was difficult to locate the meeting spot.
Once we arrived we were greeted by dozens of bodies lying lifeless on the ground. Some had our gears other had Kumo-nin gears. There were still serveral battles going on but the most devastating one was the battle between Tobirama-sensei, what looked like the Raikage and... a red monster with six tails swinging in the wind behind it.
Was that one of the brothers? Than what about the other one where was he?
Apparently Eichi and Ryo were thinking the same think because soon one of them spoke:
"Eichi, Mikoto is that Ginkakus body over there?"
I looked in the direction Ryo was pointing and there he was. A decapitated body, not far away from it laid its head with silver hair. No doubt, that must be Ginkaku.
But how? He didn't die in the story I'm sure of it!
"We must have already began to alter the story, maybe because Tobirama-sensei regularly trains with us? I mean I did teach him a few things as well." Eichi was deep in thought when we suddenly heard a loud roar attracting our attention.
Looking closer at the fight both Tobirama-sensei and the Raikage looked heavily injured it was a wonder that they were stil, standing with those injuries.
Kinkaku had transformed info the 6-Tails-Form of the Nine-Tails probably because of Ginkakus death.
I was still trying to figure everything out when I heard Eichi cry out loud:
"Mikoto your kunai! Now! Ryo Conqueror's haki!"
I didn't understand what he was planing but before I even comprehended what he meant my body had already moved. I had complete trust in Eichi, there was no need to falter or ponder on his words.
In an instant an oppressive force covered the entire battlefield. Startling most shinobi that were still fighting. But I could see one red eyed man that wasn't, he knew that feeling already and so he decided to ignore it for now and kill as many of the diverted enemies.
But I was sure that he'll drag us through hell for this once we're back...
All of a sudden an immense amount of chakra was being gathered. My ability granted me godly chakra perception after all.
I looked up only to see the tailed beast gathering chakra into a bijudama.
Before it could shoot it I once again heard Eichi shout, but I couldn't understand him. The massive amount of chakra was making me feel nauseous, it was crushing me.
I heard Eichi again, what was he saying?
My subconsciousness took over, the only logical thing was the kunai I gave him right? Did he want to teleport us to it? Surely not that was suicide! Then there was only one option.
And the next moment the enormous bijudama was sent flying and exploded into a huge ball of destruction.
Looking at my right I saw Tobirama-sensei touching the Raikage with his left hand while having my kunai stuck in his right arm.
[Eichi]
That was way too close!
"Mikoto are you alright?"
But before he could answer all of us received a 'Fist of Love' I believe it was called?
"What are you doing here! This isn't some damn children's play! Leave here now!" I had never seen Tobirama-sensei this enraged. His face was a bright shade of red and I'm sure I could seeing steam raising above his head.
"What do you mean leave?! We saved your asses right now and that's how you thank us?!" I was pissed It was way to close, if we had arrived a second later he would have died.
"Shut up! I'm your Hokage and you do what I tell you to!"
"With all due respect uncle but we'll have to refuse. If we leave now you and many of our shinobi down there will die." said Ryo trying to be cool but failed spectacularly as Tobirama didn't recognise him in his dragon form.
But before our conversation could continue the Raikage spoke: "I'm sorry to interrupt but that damn beast has spotted us."
Without skipping a beat Ryo dived to the ground, a laserbeam passing through the place we were a second ago.
Damn that was close.
"Forget it, we need to seal his Nine-Tails-Chakra before he kills us. Mikoto, you think you can do it?" it seems like Tobirama-sensei calmed down.
"Yeah but I'm not as good as Hashirama-sensei at Wood Release, I need to get close enough without him noticing." said Mikoto in a dissapointed manner.
"That's enough, stay hidden and wait for the right moment we'll do our best to pin him down for a while." Tobirama was regaining his confidence back, now that they had a Wood Release user they had some chance of surviving this mess.
We were ready to go when we heard the Raikages voice: "I'll help aswell. *sigh* This is my Kumogakures mess so it's my responsability to at least provide some help."
"Alright. Ryo, A and I will go. Eichi I want you to observe the battle and see if you can come up with something. Mikoto be ready, you're our only hope." and with this he vanished together with Ryo and the Raikage.
