Raegis's intense gaze softened, a hint of admiration shining in her eyes. "You fought well too." She withdrew her sword and took a step back, allowing Amelia to rise to her feet. "Just not good enough against me."

Amelia's frustration welled up within her as Raegis dismissed her efforts. She had come so close to turning the tide of the battle, only to be thwarted by Raegis's skillful defense. Amelia couldn't help but feel a mix of disappointment and annoyance.

"You can't deny that I had you there, Raegis!" Amelia retorted, her voice laced with determination. "You were on the ropes. A little more and I would have seared you crisp!"

Raegis's eyes narrowed, a flicker of indignation crossing her face. "Seared me? Yeah right. I assure you, Amelia, I wasn't even trying at all. You simply weren't a match for me."
