The fallen soldiers and golems littered the ground like debris while smoke and exhaust filled the air.

Hovering right above all of this chaos and destruction was a blonde figure who donned a white coat while calmly surveying the scene.

Yeah, that blonde was me.

I glanced in the direction of the Outers, who kept gawking at me with a mix of reverence and relief. Neron in particular had an expression of surprise on his face which I found somewhat amusing. However, too much of that reverent expression wasn't very good for me.
