It took Lin Yi about 40 minutes to drive to Wang Ying's house.

Since he had the key, he entered without knocking.

As soon as he stepped through the door, the clanging sound of cooking greeted him.

Soon, he saw Wang Ying, dressed in a black lace nightgown, coming out of the kitchen holding a spatula.

"Come in, I won't bother with you now. The food will be ready soon, and we can eat in no time."

"No rush, take your time. There's just the two of us, and we can't eat that much anyway. Just make something simple."

"You rarely come by, so I have to treat you well. I must show off my cooking skills in front of you."

Lin Yi said nothing further, letting Wang Ying do as she pleased.

About 20 minutes later, Wang Ying brought four dishes and a soup to the table, along with a bottle of red wine, which instantly set the atmosphere.

"I just learned these dishes, try them."
