Silence occupied the Fourth Prince's chamber following Jodicus Giff's unexpected claim. With his gaze still on his uncle, Rayan Varence appeared more than lost!

His father? What did his father do?!

Curious as the Fourth Prince was, he also inwardly reminded himself to not blindly believe everything. Besides, he did not trust his uncle that much.

"What are you playing, uncle?" He finally asked, breaking the silence that enveloped his chamber for more than a minute. "Don't you know what kind of person Father is? He is the one who still managed to forgive you after you committed such a heinous crime against him! Have you already forgotten about it?"

"If he is as benevolent as you think, then why would he send his people to hunt me down after your mother passed away despite claiming that he had forgiven me?" Jodicus Giff snapped and his face turned dark once again.
