"Yeah, it wasn't a big deal" he shrugged and immediately watched her face fall.

"No, I didn't mean the act itself wasn't a big deal," he tried to explain in panic, shifting closer to her.

"It's okay. I know what you meant," she said, and they both fell silent again. Vincenzo cussed himself out for being so careless with his words. He looked at her face, thinking of a way to erase that horrible comment. Silently, he cussed Roy again.

"What did you want to talk about?" He asked, ending the miserable silence.

"To thank you first of all," she began and paused momentarily again, appearing deep in thought.

"And?" He pressured.

"I also want to ask for a favor," she said, biting her lips nervously. He started reaching out his hands to stop her but paused in order not to frighten or annoy her.
