Bab 69: The Echelon

"We're finally alone. Why don't you sit so we can discuss it properly," Ursula ordered. 

Roy was amazed at how a person who looked so calm could spit so much fire. He was not the one to try to get into people's minds. He was far too busy getting people not to see him truly. 

Still, he couldn't help but be curious about the Maria-Ursula dynamic. They were opposites in some ways but similar in others. Little wonder they were best friends. 

He calmly took his seat and watched her take hers. She was indeed a surprise. His eyes were strictly glued to Maria, but he knew to appreciate beauty when he saw one.

"I'll cut right to the chase. What exactly do you want with my friend?" She asked in a heartbeat.

"Isn't it obvious?" He asked, that silly grin never leaving his face. Ursula observed him.
